The staff was very friendly and professional. The room’s thermostat couldn’t be controlled. When the room was heated, we couldn’t lower temp and were asked to open the window for cooling it down. There was a huge construction going on outside and it was occasionally noisy.

ShillaStay Samsung was fine generally. The location is great as it's right across from COEX, metro station and the airport shuttle service stop. But the lobby is on the top floor which has grat view, but getting there with limited working elevator is a little inconvenient. The room is pretty small but nice. Wish the loghting was brighter in the room and they definitely need additional lighting by the coffee station with a mirror. Overall it was okay, but i would try a different place next time.

If you choose this property, lower your expectations. Yes, we were made aware that heavy road construction is being done fronting the hotel, so to be aware of the noise. This wasn’t a problem. The concern is the limited and very dangerous drop off and pick up area in front. Very difficult to get out of a cab with 4 lanes of fast moving traffic barreling down at high speed. Cab pick up also was just as scary because drivers were rushed to get out destination logged into map. Rooms were also dark and gloomy. There were four panel windows, but three were blacked out so we could only see out of one small window on the corner.
