Friendly staff. Street food just as you get out of the hotel. They have a café in the hotel, but it has average food but has excellent coffee. Convenience store at the bottom of the hotel. Lots of food options and very close to public transport.

This is the best location for shopping, dining, and street food kiosks. The place is clean, but the amenities are not the best. The rooms are dark, but the area is very safe. I would still recommend the place.

Basically you are in the middle of Myeongdong shopping street, if you like mingling with the crowd! You can hear the night life from your room but not too loud to prevent you from sleeping. If you are a couple, I suggest getting a twin bed and use the second bed as storage for your luggage. The rooms are small.

Positives: We stayed 3 glorious nights at the Savoy Hotel and could not fault our stay. The location is second to none with the vibe of Myeongdong embrassing our every being. Beds were so very comfortable which is a clincher for us when it comes to reviews. Negatives: Only staying 3 nights.... wish it was longer...... Osaka Japan, here we come.

The room was surprisingly quiet even though it was busy outside! Amazing location, loved being right in the middle of Myeondong shops- it made shopping very easy. The staff were lovely, our room was clean, spacious, it had everything that we needed. We loved the water re-filling station on every floor- we made great use of it. They had a laundrymat outside for cheap and a CVS right outside too.

Savoy Hotel was a good choice for our trip. It is conveniently located in Myeongdong. It was great to walk downstairs and just a few steps away were the stores and food stalls. Front desk were all helpful and very accommodating. Staff spoke English well. Hotel is very family friendly. Water filters were in every floor and we had no problem drinking the filtered water. Hotel is next to 24 hour convenient store. The Hotel entrance is also hidden located in a safe and secure area of the block.
