Somewhere to stay in Seoul that is right next to the metro, restaurants and shops in throwing distance and the staff are happy to help with your queries. Only things I didn't like were the bed was too hard for my liking and there's a limit of one egg a day.

Included breakfast. Simple breakfast but ok for us. Just time for breakfast start from 8am, better if Start from 7am. Room a bit dirty got dust and fur. Looks like not yet done clean from last guest. Toilet smelly after we come back from outside or wake up early morning. Overall ok. But it’s cheaper guesthouse, do not expect much, receptionest is kind person and helpful.

Nice and cute hostel with secure private rooms

Perfect location close to Subway station (blue and orange lines). Clean facilities, well decorated, and lots of helpful tips on the walls and in the room. Helpful and English-speaking staff. Our room itself was quite small. The bed, bedsheets and blanket not so comfortable. The bathroom contains toilets, shower and sink altogether, it quickly becomes wet everywhere. Careful not to throw the toilet paper in the toilet bowl but in the trash can. The towels provided are very small, and think about bringing your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast is very basic (toast, cereals, 1 egg). Self-service and self-cooking, the small kitchen and sink for washing the dishes can become quickly crowded. Overall good value, just don't expect a lot of luxury. I would come back again for 1 or 2 nights, on a budget.

Pleasant stay

Staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived before 3 but we were allowed to leave our luggages while we went out to wait for check in. The room was actually quite spacious for 2 person. Self service breakfast was also provided. The location is a short walk from Chungmuro subway station, the station location itself is very strategic to explore Seoul.

Best Guesthouse in Seoul

This is my third time in Road Myeongdong! The reason we keep choosing to stay at this place is the friendliness of the staff, they are super kind and will help you with whatever you need. Especially John, Stella, Joy and Scott. Also, the location is very convenient: it’s near the subway station and several bus stations. Rooms are comfy, you get your own privacy, there’s also a kitchen and common space you can use freely. Last but not least, breakfast is amazing! Toasts, eggs, butter, jam, cereal, milk, juice, everything! I’ve stayed at other guesthouses and this one is by far the best option out there, so stop looking and book asap!

Clean and warm welcome by the person in charge

Very close to the subway station Chungmuro exit 7, lift is at the exit so no need to carry luggages. Breakfast served cereal, milk, 1 egg per person and bread. Overall satisfied.

Fantastic hotel close to subway and Myeongdong

I had a fantastic stay at Road Myeongdong. I was greeted by friendly staff who took the time to show me the facilities of the hotel, along with highlights of the city. Late one night, I returned to the hotel and the hotel staff gladly expressed a few of the customs in Korea that I was intrigued by. They were polite and cordial! The facilities are great and the room is of a modest size. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A place like home.

The place is well situated near Chungmoro station, which is a well-centralized location to explore the whole of Seoul. The room is clean and neat with a comfortable bed, however, the shower water pressure can low sometimes. The staffs are extremely friendly, helpful and funny. They have different organized tours to the different part of Seoul which can be purchased at an affordable price. I would definitely be back again when I return to Seoul.

Great staff, hostel and location.

Really nice hostel with friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is really close to the station so it's a great base for exploring Seoul. Our room was great, clean with a nice sized bathroom. Breakfast was self serve, eggs, toast, cereal and drinks. We did the Korean cooking class at the hostel which was so much fun and I would highly recommend. The roof also has a great view of the Seoul Tower. Overall I would happily recommend this hostel and would stay here again.

Hotel close to subway

Hotel is about less than 10 mins walk to myeongdong with lots of foods n shopping area . Subway is just round the corner. The room is kind of small for 3 persons though we ask for family room . With 3 big suitcase it is really hard to move around in the room. The water pressure is kind of low, it seems to be Sharing among with the rest , it can be a bit annoying when showering .
