the first room that I was given had strong smell of cigarrette smoke. the second one acutally missed a bath and normal area for shower. it was literally a hole in the floor. other things was ok. wuite clean, good location, wifi worked good.
The hotel is very close infact a short walk away from the shopping area of dongdaemun which makes this hotel a good choice. Rooms are just average, breakfast is not great, lacks fresh fruits and no choices for vegetarians. Service is good. Overall experience not bad. Would I like to repeat my stay here - No.
We stayed here for 10 days while visiting our son, his wife and our new grandson. We had a quad room (2 of our adult children were with us). The room was a good size, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were great, helpful, and spoke English well. The location is very good, near shopping, the subway, and the airport bus stop. It is also walking distance to the wall and the wall museum, which is worth visiting. The only thing missing was a workout room, but it appears this is in the works according to the hotel app. We will stay here again on our future visits with our family living in Korea.
Everything here is about a standard city hotel with the exception that the room is quite spacious. Fixtures and wifi running well. Staff and services are good and helpful. Breakfast is OK with various menus. For smokers, there are a space outside next to restaurant, or up at the 12th floor. For more food, go to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza area in just 5 minutes leisure walk where you can find so many cafes and restaurants. Best thing about this hotel, it is so close to subway station as well as the airport bus.
The hotel room is reasonably sized. The beds are quite comfortable but the pillow is a little on the soft side. There's also a huge fridge in the room. Transport connection around the hotel is convenient. There is an airport shuttle bus stop 1 minutes walk away and the entrance to the train station is also a minute away. There's also a convenience store just next to the hotel. And lots of restaurants around it. But the management really has to look at refreshing the toilet as it looks rather moldy. I also find it funny that the hotel provides toiletries like shampoo, conditioner but charges for toothbrush and toothpaste.
This hotel is terrible. The service, the room quality, the environment, everything is terrible. We arrived at the hotel at around 12pm and was I informed that check in time was 4pm. We stalled our belongings at the lobby and the staff had us registered. We were told that key would be ready to be picked up when we return anytime after 4pm. We returned at the hotel at around 11pm after some crazy shopping, tired and sweating. One of the night shift staff said he can't arrange us room on the same floor(since we are a group of six girls) as the hotel was fully booked. Excuse me? We arrived at noon and registered with our passports, should you not pre-arrange us two room on the same floor in advance? The staff attitude was very rude and arrogant. Judging us as if we had request same floor in advance. I'm so damn shocked. I understood room could be overbooked or full house but we arrived at noon. I believed they should at least input a room number on the remarks but not searching for empty leftover rooms when we return. Anyway, the first room was at 719 while mine was at 513. My room bathroom sounds like someone was drilling on the wall. Very noisy and the phone was not working. I tried to call to inform the front desk staff about the noisy issue but the phone didn't work at all. Therefore, I carried all our luggages again back to the lobby and requested to change a room. The same rude staff questioned us what kind of sound and challenge us as if we were too sensitive. Fortunately I recorded the noise generated in that room and played it loud to the front desk staff. They arranged me another room and we were very thankful even it was on the second floor only. Once again we carried our exhausted body and heavy belongings up to the room. Room 213 was arranged for us. Here comes the nightmare. The whole room was covered by mat. Dirty stained mat! Walls were spotted with black stains. Curtains were covered with lots of huge stains. Bedsheet and blanket cover also got stains on it!!!! I have never lived in or even seen a room that can be as bad as this!!!! I'm so damn pissed as the room was so dirty. One more thing, they re-arranged us a second room but has down graded us as well. The second room was half smaller than the first one. We were so upset and tired that we stayed in our friends room which was located on the 7th floor. 6 girls in one room! We discovered the phone at theirs was not working neither. I went down to the lobby the next morning to request for one more blanket as there was only 4 small one. The staff told me' you have to pay for extra blanket.' Excuse me? I'm not asking for an extra bed.im just asking for an extra blanket and you ask me to pay? Unacceptable! One more very critical fact was that the bed was full of fleas which cause us girls bitten every single night till the next morning. Itchy like hell! We stayed there for three nights but the housekeeper never renew our trash can. Unbelievable! This hotel to be summarized is a nightmare or even HELL for travelers. I will not stay in Ramada or even its chain hotel again. Totally unacceptable.
This property was selected by a conference organizer, so I did not really have a choice where to stay. But I was quite pleased by the accommodation. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast buffet was good. For the price of the room/night, this is a very good place to stay in Seoul. The subway/metro station was a bit of a walk, but not too difficult. Nearby are several small local food shops and quick marts. I would stay here again if on a meager travel budget.
I got a great deal so didn't expect much from it but I was pretty surprised how big, clean and comfortable the room was. While it wasn't new and you could see some marks and scuffs around furniture and things but overall it was very comfortable. The location is central but it was a bit of walking from the subway station especially under the blazing sun. The staff were professional and nice. I'd definitely stay here again.
I recommend this hotel! One of the best hotel in Seoul and the people who's working there is so kind and helpful. The rooms are so clean and big. We forgot to say that we wanted our room clean one day, so they called us to ask if we wanted it cleen.
The location of the hotel is good. Staff are nice. But the room was not cleaned from last guests. I found a pieces of biscuit on the floor. the biscuit remain on the floor and on the same location on the second day we stay. Finally i pickup and dump to the rubbish bin by myself. i suspect they do not clean the floor everyday.
