Close to clinic we were visiting. We stayed in April 2019, and AC was not on, but it was warm, policy was not to turn on AC that early in the year. Stayed again in June 2019, we confirmed in person that AC would be on. Check in, AC was weak and did not cool, and it was a lot warmer than our April visit. Fan was delivered to our room, made stay bearable, but just barely.
The location nice but room too small and works really cold ,they don't care costoms they just talk to each other even some people waiting so rult
This hotel was a good value for the money. The staff are more than willing to help you out, and you can even borrow an umbrella or power adapter with just a security deposit.
This was a clean hotel close to a couple of subway stations. It is within walking distance of restaurants and some nicer stores. The hotel had wifi which I needed to work. I could watch TV while taking a shower which I thought was nice. The bed was comfortable. The room wasn't huge, but fine for what I needed.
Everything was pretty convenient. Near by major business district in gangnam area.
good hotel for amazing price. smelled of cigarette smoke a little.
I traveled to Seoul for the purpose of medical tourism. The location is very convenient near the metro, shops and many medical institutions. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, good staff, the maid on the 6th floor is brilliant always quality and timely cleaning. Recommend a good hotel.
Good location - 15 minute walk from the closest metro, or a very quick & easy taxi ride from the nearest metro. Taxi drivers knew this hotel too so it was easy to get a taxi back to the hotel from wherever we were in the city (say you want to go to "Sunshine Hotel in Shinsa-dong"). The staff went out of their way to try and assist with any requests/questions we had. Some spoke English better than others, but they were all extremely gracious.
The staff was very helpful and the hotel was conveniently located--about a 7-minute walk to the metro and close to a variety of food options. Despite being put into a smoking room to begin with, this was quickly remedied when I asked and the room I ended up staying in was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the street below. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel!
I found the hotel to be in a reasonable location, 10 minutes walk straight out of the Apgujeon station. I'm quite used to walks of this distance so it didn't bother me. I was also pretty light on luggage, so the arrival / departure wasn't a big deal for me. The hotel was nothing particularly special and it served its purpose - it was a room, with a bed and a toilet. It had internet, it was clean. Simple and easy. It wasn't the quietest place / neighborhood. There was a bar or club behind it that got a bit noisy on Saturday night. The walls weren't too heavy either, so if the neighbors got giggly, it carried. Light sleepers may have a bit of trouble, but it didn't wake me up and I'd judge myself as an 'average' sleeper. The front staff was not friendly, but not rude... certainly not chatty or deeply service oriented. Again, they got the job done so I'm not too worried about it.
We stayed here for a week to attend our son's wedding. The hotel was very clean, the housekeeping staff was very prompt and thorough every day. The whole staff was very pleasant and accomodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Seoul!
The Hotel is located near Apgujeon which is the richest area in seoul, this is the Fifth Avenue of NY with high priced restaurants , boutiques and clothing stores. The hotel is clean and has parking, very convinient to those driving. Free internet was a plus, but does not have the luxury of 3 or 4 star hotels, some might even think that is a motel. The building is small but the rooms are larger than some 4 star hotels. The room was good for the money!
Hotel Sunshine is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in Korea. Because of past experiences booking online, I didn't have high expectations for the quality of the room, but was delighted to find that the room was clean and spacious, almost to the point of luxury. I'd recommend asking for a room that doesn't face the street as it was a little noisy.
