My girlfriend and I stayed at multiple places in Seoul over our vacation and this was the lowest rating hotel I have ever stayed at. Looks are very deceiving. Go out to eat and don’t waste your money at the buffet. We didn’t even stay here so I wasted money for a three night stay. The room had a foul odor and we couldn’t handle it and it didn’t look the same as it was in the pictures. There are many other hotels that have better deals so keep looking. Trust me when I say, stay away from this place.

Was very pleased with Hotel PJ. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when I come bank to Seoul.

The hotel is located a bit off the beaten path as far as being in the heart of the Myeongdong neighborhood. You clearly cross some kind of boundary. It's not a big deal, we felt safe, the neighborhood was easy to navigate and they do have shuttles to take you to them main district, but it's just worth noting and being aware of. The staff was friendly - they did their best to be helpful, though I was surprised by how little they seemed to know the surrounding neighborhood and the tips were impacted accordingly. The room was fine - it was clean enough and had good sized beds, but it was long and narrow making it not always function very well for 3 people to stay there. There was a mildewy/modly scent in the bathroom and, less pronounced, in the room that detracted from the comfort. None of this was really bad, and the trip was enjoyable, but the room/facilities/hotel experience was just ok.

I really enjoyed my stay in Korea at Hotel PJ. It was easy to get to the hotel from Incheon airport via the airport bus. The hotel itself is a short walk from the bus stop. It's also close to at least two different train lines and three stations which are all within walking distance. The hotel offers its own shuttle bus for the nearby area with stops to Myeongdong, Namdaemun and Dongdaemun markets. The room was pretty spacy and clean. I appreciated that there were American power outlets. There is also a laundry room. I didn't really try the cafe or restaurant because they are pricy and Myeongdong is so close that I spent most of my time eating and shopping (as well as exchanging money) over there. If you need to there is a bank within the hotel and they also exchange money for you. The exchange rate will not be as good as in Myeongdong though so I would shop around. The only real negative that I had for the hotel was that the key card controlled all of the lights in the room all at once so if you want to use the bathroom and turn on the bathroom light but not the room lights and you're sharing a room there was no way to do that. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be that way or if it was only our room that was that way because there ARE individual light switches on the wall and for individual lights so it's annoying if you're sharing a room. The other negative is that there is free wifi but it is unsecured. I would have liked more secure wifi.

The hotel was in an interesting area. A lot of printing companies and furniture retailers. Also, shopping and food markets. It is within walking distance of the Cheonggyecheon Stream, nice for a walk.

Great hote with shuttle and good location worth the money huge rooms love it

I had not know anything about Korea but staff tald me so many place and how to go everywhere kindly I really appreciate them.

The hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. The Triple Room was good-sized, but some of the room design were not user-friendly (e.g., the fridge was inside a closet next to the desk so to open it you have to remove things you have on the desk; safe was small - my 13" laptop does not fit in). The hotel shuttle service was very convenient.

Located in the center of everything. Most tourist locations are within 30 minutes.

Convenient with hotel shuttle bus to mall and famous area

Helpful staff especially the front desk personnels

THE ROOM ARE CLEAN, AND THE STAFF ARE SO NICE TO US.

The hotel is a very nice, modern property with convenient free shuttle around the 2 major shopping districts, Myeongdong and Dongdaemun. It is also less than a 5 minute walk to the airport limo bus stop/Chungmuro subway station or you can take the free hotel shuttle to the bus stop. Staff were very friendly. This is not the 5 star Lotte Hotel, but PJ has an English speaking concierge who was very helpful. I took a premier twin (2 double beds) because it offered a larger room with sitting area. The room was very comfortable and included a tub plus separate shower. The breakfast buffet was also very nice and reasonable for $15. Besides the American staples (pancakes, french toast, various breads, scrambled eggs, sausage) I most enjoyed the Pho (Vietnamese soup), Bibimbap (Korean mixed rice with vegetables) and wonderful fresh fruits. One downside - hotel is located in an older industrial neighborhood and is probably a future target for redevelopment. A few of the cab drivers were not familiar with "PJ Hotel". PJ is actually a nickname for Poong Jun or something like that so be sure to carry the room key holder with the map. Even so, the cab drivers had a slightly difficult time figuring out how to get there. Suggest you write down the real name.

This hotel has spacious room and a nice ocean view. The hotel has 2 management companies under one building on 2 separate floors so there is a slight confusion. The breakfast is in a contracted restaurant on 2nd floor by stairs walking only from 4th floor. The pillow is extra soft and there is only one. These are the only things I found inconvenience and not up to par.

Good location. Easy walk to Insadong, Myeongdong and Dongdaemun for shopping and eating

Got updated to a huge room. Shuttle service is very convenient.

so good n nice for family stay. Especially for teenager.

Pros: Great/abundant staff Great amenities (Free water and espresso every morning) Cons: Location (Shuttle bus almost made up for it) A/C didn't keep the room nearly cool enough Walls were slightly dirty

Liked a lot of room amenities including the jacuzzi in the bath tub, Nespresso espresso coffee in the room, mask pack, etc.

Hotel was first class. Hotel staff and bell men very helpful. Location is okay but with the free shuttle service to the Nondemon market for the day and night fashion districts also gets you to the tours of the city on on the metro.
