we booked this hotel after a recommendation from a friend who stayed there, and were not disappointed: the rooms were clean, the location was good (explore the neighborhood, it’s filled with shops, coffee shops and restaurants you won’t immediately see from the hotel!), the room was ready even though we got there earlier than check-in time. All was good. The only few downsides we’ve had are: 1. Proximity to downtown Seoul- it took us a while to get taxies, and it’s a long ride (about half hour). 2. Attention to details- getting to the room was tricky (it’s a different building), and the explanation wasn’t very clear. Also, when cleaning our room, we were left with only one towel and not two. 3. contact- it was near impossible to get the hotel's email address for inquiries and requests. no website, and they didnt contact after the booking even though i mentioned some questions. only after contacting the booking site i got their email address.
I had the best time at this hotel, the staff were excepetionally polite from the time i walked in to the time i left the hotel. The rooms were clean a fresh and the look of the rooms and the hotel were exceptional. Its great value for money for sure. I look forward to coming back to stay at La casa again and reviewing it again. Everything is not too far away. and at a push you can walk or take a taxi somewhere which are all reasonable priced. All in All a fabulous stay in Seoul
Stayed Hotel La Casa between 2-5 May. 5 mins walk from airport bus stop. Sinsa station is about 10mins away. I booked a single room which was very spacious and the bathroom are clean. At this location, garusgil street is very near. Front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. I would like to compliment Mr Shin from the front desk. He saw me struggling with my luggages and offer to help me to take them to the airport bus stop. He quickly left before I can offer a reward. Was very impressed with the hotel service. Overall very good experience at hotel.
I had an excellent stay. Friendly staff. Nice property. Good location. Reasonable prices. Clean. Not much else to say: I would want more space for a longer trip, but for a few days, I think this place is perfect.
Located in a quiet area of Gangnam, this is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are well-appointed and the breakfast bar nice (and the dinner there is excellent as well). As a bonus, there is a fantastic home design store connected (Casamia) where one can find almost anything for the home. When we return, this will be the place we stay.
Perfect small boutique hotel with great service and design in a cool neighbourhood. I just loved it! It has everything you need. Clean rooms, great size for 1-2 people (i stayed in a doubleroom) and quiet place. Wonderful breakfast with tasty korean food aswell as western dishes feshly made every morning (I do not like western style breakfast with breads). I really recommend this place for its location, design, great breakfast and comfort aswell as good service.
This hotel has its own stile and feels cozy and warm yet modern. It was a little bit difficult to find but is within 5 min walk from both a Metro station and a bus stop for the Airport Limousine Bus. Friendly staff. Had nice dinner at their own restaurant although the breakfast buffet was a bit small. Also used the laundry service that worked perfectly.
Nicely located in a cool area of Seoul the hotel has a very nice lobby and cool rooms.. Nicely furnishes and no moquette make the look of the room very minimalistic and clean. Maybe towels did not look so clean but probably just old. the hotel is close to restaurants and bars and cafes; very good location.
Stay started off well with an easy check in and upgrade to a suite. 2nd stay in this hotel and first time was satisfactory. This venue is marketed as a "boutique" property, decent pricing, so I don't expect the same experience/benefits of the big chain hotels. Internet: could never make it work in my laptop in room so had to go to the lobby where it did work. Problem with that was I kept being harassed by mosquitos....IN THE LOBBY. I advised the staff but saw no action taken.....maybe they did something after I left. BREAKFAST- last trip was good each morning. This time inedible.....to the point I left the hotel and had breakfast out.....despite it was included in my rate. Plus they charged extra for cappucino . Overall staff are nice, room was clean, but on a biz trip(especially in Seoul) I expect flawless internet service , and a decent breakfast. I'll pass on La Casa next trip to Seoul.
Came here as I wanted to stay in Garosugil in Seoul and this was one of three hotels with complimentary reviews. The taxi driver had some problem locating it (about 50,000 won from Incheon or 11,000 won from Seoul Station) and it could be tricky driving here. The hotel itself screams cool and is attached to Casa Mia which as some adorable interior pieces and home wares. The room is a decent size but similar to other reviews there is a bit of dust/hairs which is masked by the dark/modern furniture. That said the fittings (hooks, lamps, chairs, etc.) are really cool and the bathroom is quite functional with a long bench. As mentioned by other travellers, it is quite far to walk from Sinsa station which is the nearest station especially when it's hot. The surrounding streets are quiet during the day but totally comes alive at night (think fried chicken + beer, ice cream, boutiques, fashionable people watching) which is the best thing about this location.
