Hotel DALSTAIRS is well located to visit nearby cultural sites on foot, as well as being well connected to public transport with both a nearby metro and bus stops. It always felt safe walking around, even late at night. Despite being close to many facilities, food outlets and theatres the place was very quiet. The bed was really comfortable. We were there in early Spring so the weather was chilly, however the room was a comfortable temperature with underfloor heating in some areas. There are a number of very steep steps to the front door and to the rooms however these wouldn't be a problem as long as you aren't lugging up heavy cases or have mobility issues. The room is quite small but adequate for our needs. We did have to get used to the hand-held shower, which was over the handbasin, but again this wasn't too big an issue. The practicality for us of being so close to public transport and being out of the room for most of the day meant that we really didn't want for anything. When we had questions the staff were contactable through the app and were very responsive. Although we got in very late the automated check in screen was easy to navigate having English and other language options. Check out was also as simple and automated.
