If you are going to Seoul to party this is the place, very active at night till 6am on the weekends. Hotel is decent and a lot of close by restaurants but focusing on middle eastern, the halal guys just open up down the street, KFC and Paris Baguette right around the corner.
Great location, but in desperate need of updates. In particular, black out curtains would improve the stay.
We had a wonderful trip. The Korean people are very kind and grateful for my husbands service in the Korean War. We enjoyed two tours of the DMZ and we were inspired by how different South Korea is now. My husband was wounded in North Korea and received a Purple Heart He was there 65 years ago. Today, South Korea, is beautiful with state of the arts buildings. The Korean people are well educated and industrious. We enjoyed The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints Temple.
ilike service ,sauner bath, and location from which i ca go with bus, taxi, and especially on sub-way train. shopping is nearby and i can enjoy korean morning soup (haejang kooketc.). Staff are kind enough to answer all questions. my visitors enjoy coming by to meet with me. i also enjoy having breakfast in the hotel. thank you again
The location was great, but the hotel itself is run down, you can hear the music from outside, the bathroom i felt was strange. Its a shame there arent any better hotels in the itaewon area.
Location is excellent, close to subway, excellent restaurants and shopping all around hotel. Room furnishing are dated, but very clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Internet worked well. It isn't a resort, but is just fine for business.
Located in the middle of Itaewon next to many Western restaurants and tourist shops. Great amenities and close to the subway station to travel to the rest of Seoul.
You couldn't ask to be closer to the center of Itaewon. If you want to be near the restaurants and bars that Itaewon has to offer, then you're already there. The person I spoke to on the phone at the hotel was a bit rushed and therefore came off quite rude, but once I was there, everyone was very nice and helpful. Most of the hotel, like many of the businesses now in that area are smoke free, but I was able to get a top floor room that allowed me to smoke. The room and hotel were adequately clean.
This hotel is right in the middle of the city. Close to many temples and Insadong. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.
For the price of a Four Point by Sheraton or Double Tree by Hilton, you get basically a Motel 6 experience. The hotel is stuck in the 70s or 80s and the room is in poor condition. The staffs at front desk feel cold. Only highlight is its location, right next to the subway station. But again, it's an entertainment district so you will hear noises late into the night.
The Hamilton Hotel in Seoul is a convenient location for a stay in the international area away from downtown Seoul. The active nightlife there results in a lot of street noise, but the convenience to shopping, restaurants and other activities makes it worth the distraction. The Hamilton swimming pool opened during my stay, and the music during the afternoon is a bit much when the pool is right outside your window.
Great hotel! Close to everything. Limo bus to and from the airport stops in front of the hotel. A nice bakery and KFC located on the street in front of the hotel.
We had a great time in Seoul and the place and people were kind. We were centrally located which made it all the better in terms of sightseeing and shopping! We loved the food and the cost was reasonable. The Hamilton Hotel met our expectations and we were impressed how clean and their services from front desk to house keeping was the best. I would love to come back and stay with them. Thanks for having our 5 short day seem like a week's stay only because they cared for us. CD California, USA
