Definitely recommend

Perfect if you’re not too keen on staying in hostels, but don’t really need a fancy hotel room to sleep. It has everything you need and is right next to subway exit 5. I only stayed in my room to sleep/shower and it met all my needs.

Convenient location

Conveniently placed at the Exit 5 of Dongdaemun Station. Walking distance to eateries, shopping and entertainment areas. There's no elevator so it might be challenging for the people who are physically challenged.

Totally not recommended !

Step into the hotel and look very run down, luggage doesn't seems to be safe putting at the lobby as the staff not attentive. Room is also dirty, even cleaning also seems no difference as the floor and bed are still dirty. Towels are always torn, floor got insects and there was 1 day with no room cleaning service even though we put the 'please make up room' tag on the door. End up we have to do our own cleaning and wiping before bed. Laundry with no dryer and detergent. The room got weird smells and some plugs not working that we have to charge our phone in the toilet. We even have to buy fragrant bag to keep the room smell good. We were told that the owner sold the building and it will close in December 2017, hence no more maintenance, that's why everything are very bad.

Excellent location

Extremely good location! From exit 5 of Dongdaemun station, just turn left into the first alley you see and it's the hotel :) to get to the airport, just cross the road out of exit 4 to the bus stop and take the airport limo bus (10,000 won only). Perfect location- at night, lots of food and shopping options are available that close til the next morning. Fantastic area!

Near the station but not very comfortable

The day of the trip: 01/06/2015 - 08/06/2015 It is not good for a hotel which is no elevator when people need to carry their bags and luggage upstairs. In addition, their service are not very well especially the last two days. No one come to tidy up the room, clear the rubbish and change the towel too. However, the hotel is near to the station exit no.5. It is very convenient.

Awesome. Going back to this hotel~

The hotel was at a great Location. You walk out of the hotel and the subway station is in front of you and Dongdaemun shopping center is also a walking distance from the hotel. Great place to stay for the price. Friendly Neighborhood as well. Staff speak English so no worries about that. The only thing is that the beds are hard.

Cheap is cheap

Cheap and easy to find and access with subway. No lift and had to carry bags through steps. Sound protection is weak and it sounded to flow water in toilet of upstair room loud. There smelled bad like old room. But it is acceptable considering the cost.

Good Location

Hotel surrounded by old buildings including the hotel itself. 5 mins walk to wholesale market and 10-15 mins walk away from the famous Doota which operate until 5am. You can find 24hours korean food cafe just 3 mins away from lobby. Hotel has got no lift , gotta take the stairs up no matter which level you are staying. Would only recommend if you are only in particular of the location and don't mind sleeping on a piece of rock(bed).

Good location, terrible room condition

Beds were too hard. Leaking sink. Water from shower leaked out though wall and flooded the room's entrance area. Bed sheet had dried bloodstain, which was not changed, although room was made-up every day. Only advantage is the proximity to the train station exit.

No service hotel, only basics

Room was dirty, bath towels were old and torn. No bathroom amenities and no lifts! Walls not sound proof, gets noisy with guests coming in late bad slamming doors. No safe in the room. Bed was left un made one day even though housekeeper came to clean up toilet.
