This resort is absolutely beautiful and the staff was top notch.

It was a nice place. Very crowded though and a little too big for me. Also, had some weird stalker that was part of the hotel staff. He kept asking me to go out with him after his shifts and I kept saying no. He continued to ask and even asked what room I was staying in. I would see him always starring at me and walking by while he was working. Made me feel very uncomfortable and I thought it was extremely unprofessional. And steaming hot water and no pressure in shower.

We were completely enchanted by the Royal Beach Seminyak Bali hotel. Wonderful gardens, ponds and Balinese ambiance. Room overlooking gorgeous pond Meandering pathways to the most beautiful pool on the beachfront I have ever seen Breakfast was a true culinary experience The Best of the Best!

We traveled here during our honeymoon. The staff exceptionally friendly and made every effort to accommodate our requests (including moving from the ground floor to the third floor after the first night). The food in the hotel was average with a few highlights (the pizza was surprisingly good). Overall, we thought the rooms were a little overpriced as were the food and drinks, however the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the two pools are fantastic with a variety of lounging options. The "Ocean Pool" opens up onto the beach, but unfortunately while we were there the riptides and winds were high so swimming was not allowed in the ocean resulting in us spending more time at the pools. The rooms themselves are a little dated but do have minibars and balconies. The beds were soft but ultimately not comfortable for us. There is a fitness center that is adequate but the one thing that we thought was lacking was a common area that was air-conditioned (and free of mosquitoes). They also have a doctor on site, which can be useful if you develop "Bali Belly". Note that the doctor does charge a consultation fee. Overall, good property but not a "five-star" property in our opinion.

The hotel and gardens are simply beautiful. What an experience to get fotographs at the side of the giant lizards which run free in the garden. The only drawback is the beach, which has continuous small waves and holes which you fall into as you enter the sea. On the contrary, the pools are superb, surrounded by lush vegetation. Of course as you leave the hotel to go to the beach or to walk in the surrounding streets, you are besieged by vendors but this is not the hotel´s fault. The Royal Beach has very good food in an open air Indonesian restaurant at a reasonable price and the service throughout the hotel is unbeatable. Our stay was all too short.

The hotel is really nice, neat and comfortable. Staff are very friendly. Location is great because it is a quite spot near lot of attractions within walking distance. Rooms are big and practical for a beach resort. Pool area and private beach are also very nice. Drinks are a bit expensive, you better stock your minibar (a diet coke was 10 times more expensive than in the supermarket). I would definitely come back to this hotel if I were to visit Bali again. I think it offers very good value for money.

My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights in late August. We choose the place because it was on the beach and we wanted to stay close to Kuta beach but not right there. We liked the hotel and staff was super friendly. The mini bar fridge was not working (actually it was warm rather than cool), but it was not a big deal. They give you two bottles of waters a day, and it was very helpfull (although a litter bottle of water costs less than a dollar at a store). The bathroom had a faint smell of urine that got worse as the days go by. It is understandable that the septic system there is not that great. Overall, it was good value and we enjoyed the stay.
