The place was very clean, as the staff cleaned the villa twice a day without any request. The outdoor areas and the pool were also well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, from housekeeping to the restaurant. One night, we had a lizard crawl into our villa, which is common on an island. We called the staff at 3 AM, and they were able to remove it in less than five minutes. Whenever we called for room service, they arrived promptly to assist us. The location was quiet, and we hardly saw our neighbors, which provided us with a lot of privacy. If we get the chance, we would definitely visit MacaVilla again.

It’s a very beautiful and peaceful space, with amazing staff however I just had some trouble with insects and ants that kept re-accumulating which made me feel slightly unsettled in the space. I feel like that might be the nature of the space with the beautiful individual pools and open doors. The butler and staff were very quick to attend to it and make it better.

I had a wonderful experience! The staff accommodated my birthday decor request and surprised me with a birthday treat! The villa was very spacious and the pool was just perfect! The room was lovely with a private pool and sliding doors that open to the bedroom and living room. There are 3 TVs in the villa which was superb. It was clean and tidy and they offered free breakfast. The restaurant was lovely too. The location was convenient. The only downside was the wellness and spa centre. The hot pool area had an odour to it and looked a little run down.
