My husband and I stayed at Horison for 10 days . I want a shoutout to my girl Lily . She made our stay so comfortable and she is so personal and friendly. I would recommend this hotel . When we return to Bali we would definitely stay at Horison 😊
There are other big hotels that are closer to the beach for a similar price. The room was decent but we booked a double room with queen bed and they only had twin beds. The free breakfast was good. The swimming pool is nice, and there’s a jacuzzi on the roof but it’s a cold jacuzzi, which a hot one during sunset would have been great. Overall it was a fine hotel but I believe it’s a little overpriced.
Entering the hotel, I noticed that the photos on Orbitz are not of the same hotel I was booked at. They staff was nice, let us check in 2 hours early, and gave a free room upgrade. Unfortunately the room was a bit worse for wear. I rate this room as terrible for comfort because the balcony lock is broken and someone can easily side into the room from the outside. This is very uncomfortable feeling. I rigged up a way to lock the sliding door by jamming some furniture in front of it. it still felt unsafe because the way the lock was broken it is obvious that someone had broken into that room before. Scary.
I can say that the horison is an overall good value. The rooms are clean and cozy. The only problem is that the first floor is not my preferred. The initial room I was checked into had an opening in the patio door that allowed a roach to enter my room that freaked me out however, they immediately remedied the situation and moved me to a higher floor where I enjoyed the rest of my stay.
staff is friendly, room is big but very uncomfortable bed/pilows. pool is small. Inroom wifi was very weak singal...barely work at all.
Staying in Bali, you come to expect great service. Horison did not dissapoint. The staff was phenomenal. Great location.. walking distance to the beach and food. As if the price wasn't cheap enough, breakfast for 2 is included. Breakfast was GREAT. Good variety of traditional Balinese food and other options (omelets, pancakes, sausage). Great overall value and I definitely would stay here again.
