Place was left filthy, smoke butts crushed on the dining table, clogged main shower drain, broken toilet, smashed coffee maker, bbq was disgusting with old fish stuck to it, and duck crap everywhere you step! The dock and firepit were completely covered. Left a day early after notifying the host about the plumbing issues and was offered a 50 refund... what a joke. First and only experience with VRBO - they are no help at all. False advertising and horrible service.

The kitchen could use teaspoons, cookie sheet, tea towels, more bowls, dish soap. The cottage was easy to find, the photo indicates a clean lake but the lake was congested with weeds. The screen to the outdoors was stuck and extremely hard to close. The outside could have used a broom to clear the cob webs and the windows needed cleaning. My Husband who is very good pool player thought the pool table needed a new cloth and leveling. Dart board was missing the darts.

Spoiled Fishermen

Loved this 'cottage'! As a group of 4 fishermen we loved the fact that it had it's own boat launch and large deck overlooking the water. It's very weedy at the launch but a minor issue, as the cottage far outweighed a few weeds on the trailer. This cottage was beautiful, clean, and they had all the amenities we could ask for. We had a little trouble figuring out the lock combination on the front door for some reason but when we tried it on the back there were no issues. Free wifi, 2-3 TV's, pool table and lots of room in two fridges for larger groups if needed. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was another bonus for 4 guys on a fishing trip that are used to 'roughing it'. The fishing was good with lots of water to explore. I would definitely come back again and would highly recommend this property.Ken

Beautiful new property

The property manager was great to deal with and got back to me right away. Pros & cons of the place. Pros: beautiful new cottage with lots of space, very clean, location is great from the GTA, extremely helpful property manager Cons: hornets nest on the main deck, kitchen supplies (knives, plates, glasses, etc) need to be restocked or replaced, lake is not idea for jet skies (lots of weeds) and where the dock is is extremely weedy so even the boat was a bit of an issue. Having the air hockey table setup and and darts we could use would also have helped on the rainy day. Most of these are small things that can be corrected easily. Overall, we had a great time.

Great Vacation!

Very nice modern cottage, great views from the kitchen and lounge area of the dock and waterfront area set in a quiet bay of the lake. Apart from bringing your own food and drink everything else was on site. The property has self powered watercraft; and toys for kids, and a pool and dartboard inside for a rainy day. We will denitely return again.

Girls weekend

The location was lovely and the property manager was responsive and helpful. The property was mostly clean, but there were a ton of flies. We also had to clean the grease out of the BBQ that was left there as it was a fire hazard. Overall, a good weekend.

Fantastic

Cottage is basically brand new and has everything you could want. Having A/C in July was a must for us and we all enjoyed playing pool after a day on the lake. Easy access to the Trent Severn was also a big plus for us. Host was easy to get ahold of and very attentive. Overall great time!!

Amazing Cottage!

Stayed here for the weekend with some friends and the place is amazing. Property is well maintained and very clean. Lots of amenities there and backs onto the lake. Host is very responsive and was great! Would definitely come back here again.
