Booked this property last minute because of a storm and had to check in late. They called me after booking and left the key for us, the staff was great during our stay. We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage, it had plenty of room for 4 young adults. Only complaint was the WiFi was a little spotty but at the reception area there is good WiFi. Overall it was our favorite (and best priced) accommodation during our trip to Iceland.

Well placed out in the country but in middle of the circle tour

We arrived late at night and still were able to get into our cottage. We were told we can check in in the morning. The staff were so kind and understanding. Unfortunately the hot tub was not filled and not ready to use. It would have been great to just soak in after a long day.

The cottage was clean and a fair amount of room. The food and drinks were great. We enjoyed the pizza and schnitzel as well as local wines. The only downfall was the size of the shower.

If you want to see the Northern Lights from your hotel room, this is the place. It is remote, but centrally located for the Golden Circle. We enjoyed our weekend, the hot tubs, and seeing the Lights at 6:15am. Not even the middle of the night.

Hotel is on the "Golden Circle" but not really near anything. Next time I would stay at a lodge either on the northern loop of the GC or on the south coast towards Vik. Much more to see and do

Cottage kitchen was very dirty. Dirty dishes, silverware and pots. Bedding and linens worn and stained. Major overhead lamp in living/ kitchen area did not work. Told staff person at reception and was assured someone would fix right away. No one came. Hot tubs were lukewarm. Very disappointing stay.
