Liz and Matt were very welcoming, adding items to the room prior to our arrival ( ice tray for G n T and coffee plunger ) Matt shared maps with us on arrival, suggesting spectacular landmarks and walks. Matt and Liz are most wonderful hosts we have came across . We checked in after hour on our 1st night, Matt and Liz sent a video instruction for a fuss free check in experience with a nice personal touch. This Property is set in a peaceful nature surrounding and in a convenient location, short 15 mins drive to Cape Jervis Ferry terminal, room is very clean and spacious. Matt ad Liz came to our rescue when we nearly got stranded on our second night back from KI island by providing us a room at the last minute notice and kind hearted offered our family some breakfast and a lift to the Ferry terminal. Matt and Liz , you guys are amazing, we are very grateful for all your help and hospitality. Connie and the Family

Lovely place, a bit away from the city. Close enough to Normanville for a nice breakfast. The room could have benefited from some upgrades, but overall it was clean, with friendly staff and a serene environment. The cockatoos nearby can be a bit of nuisance, though.

Second Valley

Set in a beautiful area away from the city, a short drive from the beach. The lodge was very peaceful. The host Matthew was there to greet us and show us to our room. He was very helpful and gave us maps and information about the area. Room was clean and tidy, small bar fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine were available. Very clean ensuite.
