This review is solely a warning about the property host....We booked this property a couple weeks in advance of our travel dates, and I corresponded some with the host, Juan, who told me I'd receive check-in instructions 24-48 hours before our check in time. When we were about 30 miles out from the property, I had a realization: we hadn't yet received communication about the check-in process! I scoured the app looking for check-in details--nothing. I messaged Juan. No reply. I called Juan. Verizon said his number had been changed or disconnected! That's when I started to panic, so I called VRBO. Luckily, VRBO Care is amazing, and when they couldn't reach Juan either, they put us up in a local hotel for the night and helped us book another property in town. Once the dust settled on that, I was finally enjoying myself at the beach about 24 hours after our original check in time when I got a VRBO message from Juan, giving us the door code numbers. I reminded him of our check-in time the PREVIOUS DAY and told him how much strain he had put on us, and he said it was unintentional...
