Very dated. Not clean. No Covid-precautions whatsoever. Sofa-bed was falling apart, and the mattress was so old/cheap that you could feel every spring. Property allows smoking everywhere it seems, i.e. we couldn't even use the pool because it was full of trashy folk smoking whilst in the water. Clientele very questionable. The only good thing about the place was the proximity to the beach beach passes.
The Wi-Fi was poor. I could see light through the door to the outside so the cold wind was blowing into the room. The heater could not keep up.
Old very old no upkeep bed was old a/c was very loud and did not work needs to be knocked down and put up a new one
You get what you pay for it was the cheapest listing and I chose it based on photos and reviews from people that must have stayed there during a different decade. The hotel is clean and no bugs but absolutely no frills or amenities. My room smelled of old smoke, the heat vent was hanging out of the wall. The bed and furniture are in really bad shape, the bedding is stained, the towels are so thin they can’t absorb anything, no shampoo, the cups they gave us are not wrapped, the elevator is supposed to have a safety certificate by the state , the pool is not heated, there is no view from the hotel to the ocean as stated on their website unless you stand on top of the hotel. The restaurant wasn’t open the entire time we were there. However none of this information was available before I booked or at checked in. My booking is considered “off season” it is a block from the beach. Not on the beach as stated online.
I have stayed here twice now. The rooms are decent but could use some updating. Burn holes in the bedspreads, toilet only flushed if you held the handle down and the bathroom vent didn't work.
Motel is old and bed uncomfortable. No coffee or blow dryer or iron. Bathroom was old and you can hear other rooms flushing and running water
