Had an issue with key cards. Went back down the slow elevator, waited in line, and went back to the room and they worked. Not even a half an hour later a couple opens our door with their key cards and walked in. I went back downstairs with them (each time it takes a long time for the 1 elevator) and get back in line to get this figured out. The manager was very apologetic and got us sorted out. I go back up to the room and discover my key cards don't work now. Back down the slow elevator to get them turned back on. After that everything else was great. I would go back and give them another chance. But after the construction is done. Front desk was really nice and very apologetic. Close to everything I wanted to do.

Upon arriving I was told my reservation I paid for was not available. It was very late and I had 2 kids with me. I even called prior to arriving and my room was available. I had to drive an hour away and pay twice as much to get a room. Hotel blamed Expedia. Expedia was t available to help remedy the situation at time of checkin. Had to go back and forth just to get refunded for a room never got. Didn't know Expedia and hotels over book.

I’ve been staying here once a month since 2019 and this property is my go-to hotel for that getaway. The young woman who checked us in failed to mention the 24 hr pool and instead of offering a fee for earlier check in like usual, gave me an annoyed look and gave me a parking pass. Once in the room, I noticed our tub was leaking and our toilet wouldn’t flush properly. I understand they are going through construction but between the front desk experience and the room, it was very disappointing as a returning member.

the staff is nice but there is NO A/C, you have to request a fan, it was so loud and the hotel is extremely outdated. Parking was blocked off even though we were staying there, so we had to circle around and ask for an attendant who finally let us in after we just waited in front of cones that were blocking the hotel parking. This hotel is really bad. there was a construction light also in the hallway outside our room that shone into the room all night, and even with the curtains completely closed, it was so bright. the noise level from above and next door were super loud. the location is nice but this hotel was just awful.

The hotel is in a good spot right next to the beach and parking was good. They were remodeling or doing some updates to the hotel so every morning we got woken up by power tools or some other clanking. My patio didn’t have a lock on it at all. I went to front desk and they did end up giving me a piece of wood to keep it locked that way. Staff was nice but kinda overpriced for all the issues it had and the mattress was not good at all.

Great Stay — and Only Getting Better! With the exception of one receptionist, the staff was absolutely fabulous. The property, though older, was impressively clean — hats off to the team for that! I really commend the owners for recognizing the need for updates and moving forward with a remodel. I’ve got a feeling that once it’s done, this place will be booked solid. Get in while you can — we had a GREAT stay!
