The room we stayed in on the second floor didn’t have any airflow and had an unpleasant smell. The fan cord wasn’t long enough to plug in and then put in door way to help. Definitely need AC or a ceiling fan.

This property delivers more than it promises but it is also undergoing renovations (summer 2025)and is a lady getting a refresh on her makeup. The kitchenette and oversized rooms with killer balconies make it heavenly! We are already booked for next year and so are our friends!

I chose a no view room, just walk to the beach for the view. This is a nice property. I've stayed three times. They have had construction and day time noise all three times over three years. It's handled well but there is noise and clutter. The beach and view from view rooms is awesome. Noise in the room was minimal. Hot tub has an ocean view. I don't like the 4 p.m. check in time and charging for early check in. It seems to be the norm for Oregon and California motels. Convenient for the property not for the customer.

The ocean view from the balcony was amazing along with the promenade! We were on the 3rd floor but be sure to avoid the 2nd floor because there is much obstruction! The staff were very helpful.

It was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was very nice. The facility is in the middle of a restoration which is greatly needed as the facility is pretty run down. View was drop dead gorgeous. Also the bed was very stiff. Not good for people with arthritis. It is very close to the beach and shops so it made it really convenient.

While the hotel is under going renovations, and therefore a little cluttered and noisy, I absolutely loved this location. There is nothing like being directly on the promenade and beach, right in the heart of Seaside. Our room was premium king overlooking the ocean, and I would absolutely stay here again and again.

Cheap, tacky and dirty

Not good. A couple days after I booked this through Hotels.com. I got an email and they said that I could upgrade the room and get two beds with a view for $10 more. When I got to the hotel, this did not happen and it didn’t seem to be an option. The person behind the desk seemed confused. This made our stay uncomfortable as we were expecting two beds and not one small bed. Also, we were told that our room would have a view of the ocean. If you walked upstairs and stood on your tippy toes, you could see the water, but could not see the beach as there was construction, going on on the roof with tools, cones and construction stuff in front of our view. Again, if you stood on your tippy toes, you could get a glimpse of Water. Definitely manipulating. There was construction going on that seem to be everywhere in the building. From the parking lot up to the hotel. Not to mention the quality of work looked To be corny and tacky. Lobby and throughout the hotel looked unclean and in disarray. Our next-door neighbor in the hotel was obviously smoking tons of whatever and was hacking all night. When we turned on our ceiling fan clumps of inch thick dustballs came floating down. This place was not clean. As guests we are open to rickety and vintage places but this place is sold as being somewhat extravagant but wouldn’t be much better than a road side motel. We should’ve stayed at a different place next-door. We will never come back to this spot as we paid almost 300 bucks. Ridiculous
