It was a great place to stay with our 2 children. Would also highly recommend the place for couples. The only "issue" was at the arrival we were asked if we would like to donate our daily cleaning for charity. We missed information about we would not recieve for example more toiletpaper. We had a panorama view which was absolutely amazing!! The place is also perfectly close to Heide Park. We would also recommend to visit the Welt Vogel Park 50 minutes from the hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Maybe it was the high temperature that added to the atmosphere, but together with the view from our bed and balcony we felt like being in Kenya again! The hotel looks practically new, the rooms are clean and tidy and everything is looked after properly. We will go there again next time we're in the area.
We stayed in the Lodge double rooms which were really nice and modern. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service good. We came late and even though the restutant was closing while we were there there was no pressure on us to leave. The breakfast (which is available from 7.00-10.30) was also quit good but they already started to run out of things around 9.30 when we came (we didn’t bother to ask for new supplies). Anyway the shorts stay we had there was great but too expensive considered you are far out on the country side and not in the middle of a big City.
This hotel is nice and something special, the view is great, the rooms are good and clean, we even had a ‘second’ Floor for the kids) :) The restaurant and breakfast are excellent! So why not give a 5 rating? If they would have a pool and spa or a tennis court it even could be ‘upscale’ and have 5 stars! So maybe in the future? :)
By replacing the roaring of lions with the bleating of sheep, this romantic, country lodge will remind of a Serengeti safari camp. All rooms face out on to unobstructed country views as far as the eye can see. The rooms are very modern, sleek in decor and uber comfortable. Front desk folks were extremely kind and an excellent array offered for the morning buffet. The local goat/sheep herder works right outside your bedroom which adds to the country and German charm.
we stayed here for a family gathering. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with a large glassed area looking out on the open fields that gives a feeling of space. The hotel consists of several buildings scattered along the main access road. it was very nice to be able to have meals in the sunshine outside of the main eating area. Food was very good and staff/service very attentive. The family gathering was in a hall complex that more than adequately catered for the 70+ people, facilitating a very pleasant time. various activities are available including bikes and golf nearby
Hotel is located in the middle of the 'heide', which gives a real sense of quiet and being in nature. Food is good - especially the saddle of lamb and other 'heideschnucken' specialties and served in a very pleasant restaurant, just a short walk away from the building where the rooms are. The rooms themselves are clean, comfortable, modern and light, with fantastic views over the heide. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times.
The rooms 49-60 do have a perfect view onto the field. All these rooms are single level with a blacony kind of seating on the field side. Excellent for a late summernight exploration of nature, wild, or stars. Very peaceful during our stay.
Relaxing atmosphere - beautiful scenery - super service - all in one awesome place!! I loved it here. The nicest hotel I stayed in during my 6 week visit to Europe. And not very expensive! Each room has a small patio to sit on and looked out into the peaceful view! Free WiFi. Restaurant on site. Beds are super comfy. Dog rooms have their own wing - and non dog rooms are a little fancier - but not much. We both said that it would be nice to have a few days here although we only had one night. We both slept in the next morning because the beds were so comfortable! I'd certainly go back!
I was in this hotel for training. We stayed at Hotel for 4 nights. Place great, food very good, nice rooms, comfortable beds. Around forest lots of greenery, large conference room. Service very nice:)
