Originally planned to stay 1 night but ended up extending our stay to 2 nights. Had some correspondence complications earlier during booking but thanks to Ms Pia Bonk, everything was sorted out very nicely. We dined at the hotel’s buffet restaurant on the first night. The food was great! we enjoyed the German authentic food and free flow of house wine. Our boys really enjoyed the indoor pool as it has a slide and very nice water temperature. Spent the next full day at the park and visited the Soltau outlet in the late afternoon. Overall a nice stay and a wonderful drive from Hamburg city.

Booked this hotel for a bargain price (2 for 1 offer), and booked the jungle room. Room was clean, very neatly furnished, shower was good. The room didn't have a minibar nor coffee facilities but we didn't mind it. The hotel has a small indoor playground and a small, yet nice swimming pool. Also, there is a private entrance to the park from the hotel, and you can go back to your room to rest when traveling with very young children. Breakfast was decent (buffet), and dinner wasn't good and very expensive. we have decided to go to town and eat there on the second evening. On the downside, not enough elevators and the one for the main building was very slow. in fact, after dinner, there was a queue for the elevator... children activities are only in German which is useless for us. It did look like the German kids were enjoying it. Other than that the staff was really nice, professional and helpful and sleep quality was good. we didn't hear the other families in our floor once in our room.

We payed around 300 € for one night, included entrance to the park plus dinner. I feel ripped of. So much money for so little.... There was no AC, no minibar etc in the room, that you normally get in hotels. The rooms were clean though and the staff very friendly. Regarding the ambiance and surroundings; First I want to add.. that I went here with my husband and with no kids. So my tolorance level might not be as high...I inre there would be loads of kidsbut I thought that their parents would have them somewhat diciplined but there where kids SCREAMING and running around everywhere, there was no way to enjoy dinner or breakfast ( which was served in a huuge space that did not help with the noise level..... so IF you are not in to that sort of thing .... stay away! +cool rooms +nice front desk staff, especially Lucaz +convinient with direct entry to the park +clean +good breakfast -no AC -no thick curtains to keep the heat out. -noisy!! -no minibar -expensive!!!

We stayed 2 nights. The Hotel is really nice, the swimming pool super fun and the room was very comfy. We stayed at the Jungle Room. The only reason I an giving 3* is because we had a very unpleasant time on the first night with the staff at the restaurant. We arrived 40 minutes before closing time so there were only a few staff members. We asked one of girl if we still had time to have dinner and she asked us for our room number and then said "yes, please choose any table". All was going OK but suddenly there comes a lady shouting at us asking about some card, which we had no idea of. She only spoke German so was not able to communicate with us in any other language, so I tried to explain that the other girl had our room number and she said "that's not true" (in bad English), so she called the manager who was able to communicate with us. I explained to him and he took my room number and said "no problem and I am sorry for the trouble". I told him that our evening was ruined anyway and then we left. We decided to avoid the restaurant for the remaining time we spent there and preferred making a quick trip to the town.

This hotel is probably fun to go to with kids but not in a hot time. The hotel doesn’t have climate control, nor AC or fans. I couldn’t sleep due to the heat and when I asked for a fan they didn’t have any. Shower is great (huge). Free parking with hotel price is included. Also the conference rooms have no AC. We had 2 full days of conference in a room where it was 33C all day. Unimaginable to be here. At least get AC for those rooms. Food was ok but buffet.

All seems ok, but shouting, screaming, singing, banging and knocking doors, re-arranging furniture seems to go on 24h a day and with pretty bad building quality you can hear every word and sound from neighboring room. A bit like like a youth hostel during spring break. Which can be fun of course, but not at these prices. Has nothing except TV (no A/C, no Coffee/Tea in rooms), so rather 2-Star hotel at outrageous prices. First time, but never again. Techno Music from 6:30.

Our pirate room is clean and unique designed, very cosy. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is delicious. Visitors to the park can access to the park with its own and convenient entrance. Treasure search activities organised every night by the hotel is interesting and full of fun. Children like very much the swimming pool and singing performance at the hotel. There is no refrigerator in the room and the dinner buffet is too expensive.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we could not fault the hotel. Although a little on the pricey side in high season the room was spacious and comfortable. The themes are very well carried out. The buffet breakfast was very well laid out and excellent in quality and quantity. The entrance to the park was very easy .

Stayed one Night on last minute deal. Great pirate theme room on the 4th floor, with great view over the forrest. Our daughter loved the bunk bed! Everything very clean And Nice. Giant buffet both for dinner and breakfast, good quality Products. Great little pool, playground and bar. Very friendly staff. Loved every minute and Will be back soon.

It's 1 hour away from Hannover Messe but the drive is mostly against the traffic heading into the exhibition. Might be a little quirky for formal meeting but our team that were there had no complain and enjoyed the week stay commenting it is a breathe of fresh air for themed hotel. For the price, it is a proper hotel with facilities including hosting business meeting or dinner meeting. it is 5 minutes from Soltau downtown and has many local restaurant selection so it's perfect.
