This fully renovated thatched cottage from 1850 is nestled between fields of rapeseed, a golf course, and one of the Baltic Sea’s most beautiful surf spots: Pelzerhaken—right in the rolling hills of East Holstein. The charm of original features (panel doors, wooden beam ceilings, fireplace) blends with modern, high-quality amenities and designer furniture by Vitra, Panton, Starck, and more, making the house truly unique.
With 100 sqm of living space, three bedrooms, and room for up to six guests, the Cottage under Thatch offers plenty of space for families and small groups. The fully equipped kitchen includes both an espresso machine and a filter coffee maker, so your mornings start off right. A dedicated workspace and Wi-Fi let you combine work and relaxation.
Outside, you’ll find a shared garden with both covered and open terraces—perfect for barbecues. Children will enjoy the playground, toys, and books on site. Two baby cots and high chairs are available for little ones. There’s a washing machine and a secure bike storage area—ideal for exploring the area.
