There was food from the previous guest left in our fridge. Also, the glasses had lipstick stains, and there was a large purple stain on the comforter. There was no bacon at breakfast. The woman who ran the breakfast area walked around yelling at people. We had stayed there before and there was a bar with a happy/social hour. They removed the bar and no longer offered the social hour with cookies and milk for the kids.

The service at this hotel was excellent. The staff was great, the rooms were great, the breakfast was good. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. The only bad thing was parking. If you don't do valet parking you have to get lucky and find off the street parking. I would still stay here every time I come to Savannah.

The hotel staff was very pleasant, the room was clean and the outdoor area was beautiful. The only complaint that we have is there was not parking available, only valet or street parking, if you could find it.

No Marriott Rewards points, charged twice for parking, location not great, put me in handicap room, staff (except Chef Momma) not friendly.

excellent counter service, maid service and breakfast and mon -wed. meet and greet staff.

The hotel is close to all the action in the historic district, while still making other areas, such as the Starland District, accessible. The little extras - breakfast, happy hour, cookout night - make the hotel stand out from others.

The hotel itself was great! Nice and clean with full amenities. Kitchenette in the room. Nightly free social type events and free breakfast a big plus! Very pet friendly! Staff was super friendly and accommodating! Great local suggestions for entertainment, drink, or food. Definitely would stay here again. It is a bit of a further walk from downtown area, but still doable.

My boyfriend and I were very pleased with this hotel as we stay here every time we need a room in Savannah. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and this hotel probably offers the cheapest valet rate at $12 per night opposed to $20-$25 a night in most of the downtown hotels. I give this place 2 thumbs up

Great stay in a great location. Short walk from downtown restaurants and bars. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful.

I stayed with a friend over the past weekend. The city of Savannah was booked, so I had no choice as to where to stay. The hotel is ok for what it is- a generic hotel within walking distance of the historic district. The photo of the exterior somehow makes you think it will be more. The rooms were comfortable and clean. although you cannot open the windows The staff is helpful. In short, make your reservation far in advance if you want to experience the real Savannah. It is not in this hotel.

Great rooms with a little kitchen area and pull-out sofa. Very friendly service, they called cabs for us whenever we went out. Yummy breakfast too! Very good location near downtown and River Street if you don't mind a little walking.

The room was very nice, updated, and very clean. The room had a very good size for my 1 year old son to run around. The stuff was very friendly

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. Exceeded our expectations. Super friendly staff. Free breakfast and a cocktail hour on weekends. Large rooms. Very clean. Not in the historic downtown district but certainly walkable. Or cab out and walk back late night, like we did.

We have been stopping in Savannah as a half-way point between WV and FL. Residence Inn was the most expensive of our stays. Very nice rooms and the breakfast was nice. It is a short walk to River St. Parking is limited, so plan on using the valet service.

Everyone on the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was large and clean. There were many breakfast choices. Appetizers, wine, and beer were served each afternoon between 5 and 6. The tour companies were headquartered near the hotel. We will stay here next time we're in Savannah and will recommend it to our family and friends.

Booked last minute. Serve beer and wine free with snacks in evening.

We had a great time on New Years Eve in Savannah. And we had a very comfortable stay at the Residence Inn as well.

Good and Peaceful. Parking could have been better.

This is a relatively new property in Savannah. It is located next to the visitor's center and the railroad museum, but it's a long walk to Bay and River streets. The suite was spacious, but the decorator thinks people are shaped like cubes. The chairs and sofas were some of the most uncomfortable furnishings I have ever tried to sit on. Fortunately, the bed was very comfortable. The room was immaculately clean. The best thing about the place is the people that work there. Everyone, from the night mananger to the cleaning crew was friendly and helpful. Special mention should go to the ladies that handle the morning breakfast and the bartender.

My husband & I brought our 21 year old nephew to Savannah. He loved it. The staff were very friendly & extremely professional. Fantastic out door Swimming Pool and good breakfast. 20 minutes drive to Tybee Island. Nice place for family and couples...

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Parking is at premium in the Downtown Historic District and the $15 charge to Valet Park is an excellent option. We hope you will choose our hotel again in the future.
