I usually stay on Hilton properties but I was thinking about switching to Marriot properties and so I tried this hotel. Horrible horrible horrible. I asked for disabled room, or near an elevator, a week earlier for my octogenarian mom who is unable to walk too far, but they of course gave us the last room on a long hallway. The receptionist was somewhat helpful but you could feel she’s somewhat hurried and off. The room was booked for 4, beddings was sparse no pillows, and it looks like they did not even bother to replace cups. Breakfast was a brown bag, which is understandable but even coffee was just mediocre and cold. I’ll just stick to Hilton.

The room was outstanding. Breakfast was great. I was disappointed that it did a have a parking lot,

Easy walking distance to historic district. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had a suite, so could take leftovers back to the room and use the kitchen. The evening socials were great; we didn't even need to find a restaurant for dinner the night we arrived! The valet parking attendants were so nice, and the cost was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again!

Property fit right in with architecture with brick and clap boards houses. It was a city block with a park across from it. A memorial but was nice to walk the dogs. Room was HUGE! My only complaint was that they had off street parking. I paid for valet but wish I could have self parked.

I enjoyed the fact that my room was a studio, not just a room.

Nice hotel overall and within walking distance to downtown. I would stay again.

Pool was nice and so was the hotel mix at night! Room was nice and big with little kitchen! Water pressure in the shower was also really good! Would definitely come back!

There was food from the previous guest left in our fridge. Also, the glasses had lipstick stains, and there was a large purple stain on the comforter. There was no bacon at breakfast. The woman who ran the breakfast area walked around yelling at people. We had stayed there before and there was a bar with a happy/social hour. They removed the bar and no longer offered the social hour with cookies and milk for the kids.

The service at this hotel was excellent. The staff was great, the rooms were great, the breakfast was good. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. The only bad thing was parking. If you don't do valet parking you have to get lucky and find off the street parking. I would still stay here every time I come to Savannah.

The hotel staff was very pleasant, the room was clean and the outdoor area was beautiful. The only complaint that we have is there was not parking available, only valet or street parking, if you could find it.

No Marriott Rewards points, charged twice for parking, location not great, put me in handicap room, staff (except Chef Momma) not friendly.

excellent counter service, maid service and breakfast and mon -wed. meet and greet staff.

The hotel is close to all the action in the historic district, while still making other areas, such as the Starland District, accessible. The little extras - breakfast, happy hour, cookout night - make the hotel stand out from others.

The hotel itself was great! Nice and clean with full amenities. Kitchenette in the room. Nightly free social type events and free breakfast a big plus! Very pet friendly! Staff was super friendly and accommodating! Great local suggestions for entertainment, drink, or food. Definitely would stay here again. It is a bit of a further walk from downtown area, but still doable.

My boyfriend and I were very pleased with this hotel as we stay here every time we need a room in Savannah. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and this hotel probably offers the cheapest valet rate at $12 per night opposed to $20-$25 a night in most of the downtown hotels. I give this place 2 thumbs up

Great stay in a great location. Short walk from downtown restaurants and bars. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful.

I stayed with a friend over the past weekend. The city of Savannah was booked, so I had no choice as to where to stay. The hotel is ok for what it is- a generic hotel within walking distance of the historic district. The photo of the exterior somehow makes you think it will be more. The rooms were comfortable and clean. although you cannot open the windows The staff is helpful. In short, make your reservation far in advance if you want to experience the real Savannah. It is not in this hotel.

Great rooms with a little kitchen area and pull-out sofa. Very friendly service, they called cabs for us whenever we went out. Yummy breakfast too! Very good location near downtown and River Street if you don't mind a little walking.
