Good bang for your buck
The property itself is not maintained. Halls smell moldy and dusty. As soon as we entered the room we found a roach crawling on the bathroom wall and another roach on the tv stand. Immediately walked to front desk to return our keys to leave - wasn’t offered a refund or anything. She acted like it was normal.
The elevator did not work half the time but besides that everything else was cool
Quiet and location.
Bathroom tub stained , not very clean, elevator floor dirty
Was definitely not the best place I have stayed, but also not the worst. My daughter and I did not feel comfortable staying here. The property looked run down and just not safe. We also found that the weekend we stayed, was prom weekend, so lot's of high school parties taking place. Too bad they could not have been grouped together on their own as they seemed to be on all sides of us. We had planned to stay 3 nights but ended up checking out early. Will not stay here again.
Clean room, nice bed-
Wish it was more up to date and more nice looking and the bed could of been more comfortable but it was very clean. Which is a plus
The staff was professional from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The location of the property was great, in that it was close to the Historical District, Shopping, Eateries and Tybee Island. Some of the furniture was not working properly due to wear and tear. But the room was clean with a comfortable beds. I would recommend that the Baymont at Midtown invest in taller standing toliets. The one in our room recently and previous rooms sit extremely low to the floor. It is more like dropping down on the seat than a smooth sit down. Anyone could get hurt, if not very careful. It was quite scary when going to the bath through the night. We do plan to stay at this property in the future when in Savannah and hoping for taller toliets.
The room was small, the towels were small and not plentiful. The water wss not drinkable. Breakfast was a piece of fruit or a pastry. There was no internet until Monday when the majority of guests had checked out. Guest laundry was not working. There was no coffee in the rooms. We were told we could park right outside our door and parking was not near our door.
Needs a deep cleaning. So dusty hard to breath. Staff is good, but hotel needs to be rehabilitated
Convenient location, clean room, nice support facilities such as lobby amd work out area
