Really gorgeous and wonderful food
The food was truly amazing. Evening dinner and the organic breakfast was to top restaurant standard. Everything was very thoughtfully done to a very high standard from gorgeous antique furniture, decor to monogrammed towels and really nice toiletries. We loved it but just had one problem which probably was particular to our room on the ground floor. The outside stone wall was very damp. You could see the damp marks along the bottom of the wall and under the window. The room had a damp smell and needs attention. The rest of the rooms were upstairs and I would not imagine had this problem as the other guests loved it. We arrived late and were leaving early the following morning so we did not mention it to the owners who were very nice but did not speak English. I would give it 10 out of 10 if we did not have a damp room. The dampness was too much to ignore in a review and I hope the owners sort out this problem as they have restored the building beautifully.
