Our room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. You can tell this is an older hotel but they are in the process of renovations. We didnt use the pool but it looked nice. We did have a drink at the tiki bar one night and it was lively and the bartender was very friendly. No complaints really. It worked out well for us while in town visiting family.

We were very impressed with Lantern Inn and Suites for the price. Our room was a nice size, clean, had comfortable beds, and seemed recently renovated. The pool was kept clean as were the washers and dryers (I had just stayed in a hotel in a different town that had some that left stuff all over my clothes so it is the first thing I noticed here). I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Sarasota.

The hotel room was spacious and very clean however as soon as we walked in the room there was a very foul odor not sure exactly what it was because it did look clean. I understand it may be due to the recent hurricane that passed through that area so its understandable. Also the walls are very thin and you could hear all sounds from the cars to airplanes and alot of birds chirping in the hotel tree bushes right outside our room. The hotel did provide ear plugs and other amenities including a keurig coffee machine. The shower and bathtub was also great. Overall for a one night stay it was ok. Just needs a little more maintenance and maybe take down nearby bushes.

The hotel was very close to the airport and that is what we needed. A one night stay until we could get into our house we were staying in. The room was very clean.

The hotel is under construction due to the recent hurricanes. Our room has been remodeled and it’s very nice. Tile floor which I prefer to carpet, the bathroom is very nice and tub was reglazed. Tiki bar was cute!

I had my doubts initially but I was surprised in what good condition my room was, clean and functional. The management takes a good care of the property and the housekeeping did a great job too. Large TV and a functional coffee machine. A good deal for the price.

Clean and Comfortable

The bldg is old but our room had been renovated and was quite comfortable. Very clean! Bed was comfortable. More pillow options might help. Staff very polite and efficient. Fridge was a bit noisy but did not keep us awake. Being near the airport, morning flights began at about 5:30 am.

Lantern Inn - beautiful stay

Very pleasant trip and accommodations were top notch. Anything needed was immediately brought. We recommend The Lantern Inn. Very comfortable and pool was lovely.
