The outside doors were all filthy, that's the first thing that you look at. Our door handle was about ready to fall off. The bathroom was tiny, but the tub had water underneath it, and it was all sloshy and hard to feel stable on to stand and take a shower. The area was close to everything, the pool and inside corridor were clean. The restaurant onsite was good.

Staff are always helpful and cheerful. I stay here often. The landscaping and pool are beautiful. It is quaint with French doors that open out into a tropical oasis with pool. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. In my room, I have a mini-fridge with freezer and a microwave. I love driving to Whole Foods in Sarasota and filling up my fridge with my favorites.

Not much to say. Old property partially updated. Nothing to brag about. But the price was right and the room was clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom was also somewhat updated and clean. Overall a good value vs the chain hotels. To be clear this was a motel. So don't expect much in the way of ambiance! Still, I would prob stay there again! The on-site bistro was the best part of the whole experience. Top notch hole in the wall local spot!

This is a little “old Florida” motel on the Isle of Venice. Very unassuming, but rooms are very clean, staff is friendly and the pool area is well kept. Beds were comfy and the area was safe. No complaints.

Cute little older hotel, very nice updated room with French doors that open out into the pool area. The room had new bed, floors, and bathroom fixtures, but they really needed to replace the old bathroom cabinet when they did the sink. It was badly water damaged and falling apart. Also, pest control needs to do some work. There were little roaches all over the bathroom at night. But it's what you get for $65...

The courtyard and pool were nice. The door to the room we were staying in if you didnt lock the door you could just push the door open. There was hardly any water pressure in the shower. The pillows were flat and the bed lets just say we wouldve more comfortable on the floor. Very thin walls. Vut close to good bbq and not far from the beach.
