We stayed at this motel for several days. The room we stayed in was in the two story building. A little tough to drag all our belongings up to the second floor. But we managed. The room was big enough. The bathroom was huge in this particular room. Loved it. Bed comfortable and clean. Only downfall to the room was the window AC. It was very loud. Normally AC’s don’t bother me if they have a steady sound. This one was really loud at times. But even with that, we throughly enjoyed our time there. Tom and Eric were very nice and helpful. They have a nice little pool between the one story rooms. Pool restroom, plenty of chairs. They provide towels for pool and beach. They even had sunscreen if you needed it. For the beach they provide carts for the provided beach chairs, umbrellas. Behind the two story is a brand new lap pool with hot tub. They are currently working on landscaping and a new game room. This place is really great. I would definitely go back.
Considering that age of the place, it is well maintained and clean. Parking was room specific, so no issues. Very accessilbe to the beach. The kitchenette was well equipped. Bathroom/shower are compact. Good place to base yourself from to explore and come back to. Not sure we would say it was quaint or cosy in the British sense of the word.
This motel which opened in the 50's, sets in a beautiful tropical atmosphere and is only a 4 minute walk from the beach. Quaint and clean. The owners and staff are wonderful hosts! They have all you need....two heated pools, gas grills, beach chairs, carts, etc. We highly recommend Haley's on Anna Maria Island!
My husband and I stayed here 2 nights on our way to Fort Myers. We seriously hated to leave! We stayed in motel room 2. It was very clean and I believe had been updated recently. Everything we needed for our short stay from a coffeemaker and fridge in the room to beach chairs and towels for our use. The pool area is very nice as is the courtyard area by the office. We would most definitely stay here again. The beach is a very short walk.
We stayed for only one night, and my only complaint was that it wasn't longer! Haleys Motel was a cute bungalow style hotel. Room 6 had a full kitchette with separate sleeping area. The unit had a nice beach vibe. The pool area was nice, and had carts ready to go with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and even suntan lotion ready to go for the short walk down the street to the beach. The hotel grounds had nice outdoor seating areas for each unit with great landscaping throughout the common areas. Their location on Anna Maria Island was wonderful. I would definitely go back, and stay a little longer next time.
This is a quaint little place on the main drag. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool area was cute and appeared well equipped although it was a bit chilly for us to make use of it. We arrived late and stayed in one of the motel style rooms. It was sweetly simple, neat and clean. Kudos to the staff for telling us before we booked about the construction outside the room. We appreciate knowing in advance and very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you
A great place to slow down, appreciate life and enjoy what nature has to offer. Haleys is very well located and a few steps from an amazing sunset at the beach. Our stay was so smooth and fresh that if I cloud, I would have stayed a lot longer, I'm already missing it very much!!!! :)
Another couple, my husband and I stayed at Haley's for one night mid-January. We found it hard finding accommodation that wasn't a vacation rental, but Haley's was just perfect. The motel is within walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. The other couple stayed in room number 8; close to the pool, away from the main road. It was a bit smaller than room 1, where my husband and I stayed. The motel was just a short walk from the beach and has beach chairs, buggy's and other beach paraphernalia for guests to use while staying. We stayed in room one, which, while close to the main road, was fine because traffic on the island is pretty sparse at night. Our room had been recently updated (very well) and had a small kitchen and table for eating, as well as a shower in the bathroom. If we are able to return for a longer stay, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Unfortunately we hit a cold spell so I can't report on the pool or other outdoor areas.
We spent one night at Haley’s Motel and found it charming. The room was nicely furnished and clean. The small kitchenette was so useful for breakfast and as a workspace. The weather was bad so we weren’t able to use the pool or the beach at the end of the street.
Our Upstairs Room was very Large and Spacious, quiet, no road noise, and 1 short block to beach and the hotel has a nice warm pool. I paid a bit more than could have for one of their hotel rooms, but for a couple's trip it was so worth it.
