Expensive for the quality, located a bit far from the centre - 20 minutes to walk. Decent room and bed, although bed is on the harder side. Rooms have safe, refrigerator, possibility to make tea or coffee. Ok wifi. Quiet location, good possibility if only passing by. Free parking. Air conditioner, needed also during cool months. The windows of our room did not close tightly, room was cold - had to use heating. Ok breakfast with eggs and bacon, cheese and ham, yoghurt and cereals. One can make fresh orange juice. Pleasant service.

We love Mercures so were surprised to read a few bad reports about Macon. Benefit of doubt kicked in as we wanted to be fair but boy oh boy were we wrong. Greeting was surly on a Sunday, no real help with maps and options as is usually the case. When we saw the room's cleanliness we were not happy but given we were only there for a night we put up with it (dust behind the fridge, carpets dirty and needed deep cleaning. Breakfast was poor with a reasonable but not extensive range available; the hot food was cold, no pancake warmer etc. I suggest they visit the Mercure in Beaune to learn how to do it properly!

Convenient situation, good parking, fairly quiet location. General service ok, although we had to ask twice for the Single size bottom sheet to be replaced on our Double bed. The very good restaurant has been replaced with a rather down market one, tiny, cramped, staff in own clothing, just not Mercure quality. We did sleep well both nights!!

This is a very modern hotel, elevators (2) and nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, they gave us a great restaurant tip. The breakfast was good, the car parking was wonderful. Overall this was a great place to stay in a city we were visiting on a stopover on our way back to Paris. The service is stellar and the AC was good.

Stayed there for 4 nights with my little one, hotel is neat and clean. Rooms are bit small, stayed in regular room for 2 nights and the other two nights i booked an enhanced room with better view of the Soane and having a Nespresso machine in room and more amenities. Parking is well situated and breakfast is fine. Staff are helpful . I will stay again there next time I visit this lovely city.

This was the most horrible hotel we visited in the last ten years . It seems that this hotel had been renovated last year, but renovation was limited to new furniture and all the rest was old. The floor in the room was dirty, behind the curtains, there was plenty of dust and as i suffer from an house dust allergy , this was an horrible night. Unbelievable for a 4 Star Mercure Hotel.

Even if well located in a nice environment this hotel is less than poor: old style, dirty and dirty: in the front door there were more spiders than guests, I guess... All the furnitures and the "style" sent us back at the seventies... The room was plenty of powder, with a dirty old stained moquette. During all our stay, the temperature of the room was like a sauna as the air conditioning was not working properly: more or less a ventilator... we noticed the lady at the desk with no effect. Also the breakfast was very poor and not up to the Mercure brand! The staff if completetly inefficient and poorly directed, apparently with no standard, to begin with the uniforms and surely with no involvement in their job. When we arrived after 14:30 our room (superior) was not ready and (the only good thing during our stay!) we were offered a drink while waiting the room... Unbelievable from the Mercure brand!

Average stay in an average hotel. Arrived on a Wednesday, no bar or restaurant. Nothing in the fridge, one person on duty. I'm beginning to wonder if the Accor chain know anything about customer comfort.

Stayed here for one night enroute to Italy and found it a really soulless place. Room was small with non functioning air con. No wifi ( they were having problems with it all day)... fridge in the room still had the remenants from last guests. Couldn't wait to leave the next day. Staff were very unprofessional. One had ill fitting casual dress with long greasy hair. Another was tattooed. Not a great stay

Stayed at this hotel on my way to the South for 1 night. Check-in was very swift and appointed room was of privilege category featuring Nespresso machine and mini bar. Size is good. Bath had a rain shower. Overall the room was clean, but when looking a bit into the corners it became clear that cleaning was only done quick and not detailed. The restaurants offers in the evening 2 dishes, 1 fish and 1 meat. The food was just ok. BF is decent as well. People where nice and friendly. Location is just on the bord of the river in a quite area. The hotel has a pool outside! Overall OK
