We had stayed at this hotel before. It is well located when needing to access cetain parts of the city. The shower is good and the rooms are clean and neat. The towels are the small, inexpensive kind which could certainly be improved. The wi fi reception was fine and there were good tv channels. The mini bar had some issues ( somehow had substituted two empty coke cans for the mini bar cans, but that was taken care of). There was a lot of noise from the upstairs room. Our visit started out with an error in our reservation...which was committed by me. I accidentally put the year 2018( we travel a lot and this was the first time it happened to me!). The price difference between the online reservation we had made and the rate for the 2017 date was almost double. We really had to bite the bullet and pay what was a very expensive rate for the product offered due to time issues. We had an event to go to and the mistake was mine. The unpleasant part came at check out time. The original (much cheaper rate) included breakfast and the new rate did not. We went to a graduation party and arrived at the hotel very late at night. I wanted to sleep in due to the late arrival so I did not go to breakfast. My husband went to check out and the man at the reception desk wanted to charge us for two breakfasts. My husband explained only he had eaten. The man insisted otherwise. He found only my husband's signature on the bill for breakfast but then insisted on calling the restaurant attendant to double check if I had not eaten too ( she confirmed I had not). Doubting us and calljng the attendent was very unpleasant. On a final note, we will not be going back again. We have stayed at many Accor hotels ( Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure ) and never had this kind of issue. Disappointing.
Having stayed 6 nivhts at this hotel. I would recommend looking for alternative accommmodation. Service is slow, receptionists ignore guests. On 3 occassions my keys stopped working and I had to go to a lot of trouble to atract attentin of the receptionists. The rooms are very clean, but from 06:00am the noise from trucks parked by the hotel rooms will wake you up. I forgot a few items of clothing, documents and money inside my room vault. Called to advise of this and was promissed an email as soon as my room was cleaned, it's been nearly 2 weeks and the email still did not arrive. I called on Saturday and they said nothing could be done over the weekend. A hotel of this alleged category not having a Duty Manager over the weekend is appaling. I still went ahead and waited until Monday, when calling I was advised I had to send an email, very slow responses and a lot of chasing on my side and still no results. The plague may be preferable.
There's a great service of bar and a nice western breakfast. I stayed there for a business Fair next to the hotel in a standard bedroom. The hotel is really clean and smells like flowers. There's a supermaket and a shopping mall around the hotel parking. You can also find Olive Garden, Outback and Mc Donalds outside of the Hotel. It's next to São Paulo Expo Center Norte and 25 de março Avenue. You can also find into the Hotel some video games, computers and sushi bar.
Not much to say about this place. I arrived late, I left really early. Nice hall, good rooms. I had no breakfast, I couldn't use any of the ammenities. Overall, it looked like the average Novotel. Nevertheless, I must say I didn't receive the usual welcome you would expect to a Accor Gold member. That, I didn't like.
Its a Excellent Hotel for Business Travellers. Situated very close to Expo Centre Norte (approx 1 km) and Shopping Centre. During the exhibition they have a Shuttle service to Expo Centre every hour through its a 10 min walk. Very good Gym and swimming pool. Excellent Breakfast and very good pizza for dinner, make this hotel perfect place. Rooms are big enough. I would love to come back here.
Well, it's a 4-star hotel with a 3-star service and a 4-star price. Expensive for what it offers. The heat wasn't working properly. Breakfast is good but Adágio - from the same chain - has a cheaper better one. But the main issue was the fact that we couldn't sleep properly our last night because of a loud, terrible sound coming from a community in front that endured the role night and dawn. The hotel could work this out for the clients. Also the surroundings are not very safe with drug addicts walking around. It's well located if you have something going on at Expo Center Norte but I don't intend going back unless in this case.
The hotel is really enjoyable, friendly staff and warm service. It's an old hotel, located walking distance to Center Norte mall, with a lot of restaurants and things to do. But it's location, other than the proximity to Center Norte mall, is bad. There's a lot of homeless people in the area. I really didn't feel safe (outside the hotel). Awesome breakfast. The food in general at Gourmet Bar is delicious and very well prepared. Good internet service (quite fast and reliable). Recommended, only if you have to be around the north area of São Paulo.
I stayed at the hotel recently while attending a conference and must say it was one of the nice Novotel hotels I have stayed at. They were occasionally short of staff (which could be due to a big conference and lots of people staying there) and had a bit of language issues but tried their best to help. The room was reasonably big and comfortable. One thing that they can surely improve on is the variety in the breakfast menu. In all otherwise it was a comfortable stay.
This hotel is very comfortable and clean. Staff are very friendly. However it was really really far from my office so it took me 1.5 hrs every day to get to Av Interlagos. I really recommend that you look for a hotel that is close to where you are going to work ir visit as this is a huge city and the traffic is very heavy.
The hotel is nice, the rooms are big enough, the Japanese restaurante is very good and the waiters were quite helpful! The only thing is that not too many people seams to speak English but they try to explain everything in a good manner.
