We have been there for 3 nights. All in all the place was good (for a resonable money). + It is close to av. Paulista + There is a parking lot in the basement + Room was big, nice and clean + Breakfast was OK (not super, not bad -> ok) We did NOT use fitness or bar or anything so we cannot make any comment. But for the basics we would come back here.
Excellent hotel with excellent food staff very friendly nothing is to much trouble well situated in the centre of Sao Paulo very nice rooms with en suite very spacious would stay there again no problem
Average hotel, clean enough but in need of a touch up. Breakfast was ok, not bad or good - just ok. Nobody seems to care about the hotel really, staff are nice enough and helpful but it's all very slow and with a smile.
If you are a self motivated traveller, have a lot of patience, time, money and are traveling in a group then is the Hotel is for you. Has the possibility to accommodate large groups - which is a plus. But as for the service...they are lacking, no information was given about the hotel amenities. After reading the manual in the room, I discovered they offered a complimentary first night drink, free breakfast, pool, and sauna. They lobby staff proved unhelpful yet watchful of my partner and I. As a Black Queer GNC person I would not travel to this hotel alone. But the bartender was friendly.
Brazil is not easy as a Black person, but this should not be reflected in a Hotel, that has a special anti-discrimination note in the elevator. They don't live up to their standards- so be ready to get mistreatment and looks from all the Hotel staff. I would not recommend to stay there. You also have to speak Portuguese in order to receive proper service, as most of the staff ton't speak english, french, italian, spanish, german- so we tried with what we had.
THINGS I LIKE: 1. First and foremost.... FABULOUS BUFFET!!! It is worthy to note that their coffee tastes HEAVENLY. 2. Strong wifi connection. 3. Bed and linens are comfy. 4. Receptionists are helpful and polite. POINTS FOR IMPROVEMENT: 1. Corridors should be more lit. 2. Sauna and gym a bit rundown.
I try to stay in this hotel every time I go to Sao Paulo. Its location, a block away from Paulista Avenue, is perhaps the main reason for my preference, but the hotel is good by itself. Lovely staff, nice facilities and reasonably good food are the good points. However, there was something different this time: my family and I were there last July. The temperature in town was low, very cold indeed for the local patterns and the room where we stayed was simply freezing! There was not hot AC and there was no way to warm up the place. We could not even walk on barefoot! I warned the front desk staff that the room was extremely uncomfortable on account of the cold. They said that the hotel had recently undergone a renovation and that the original carpet in the rooms had been replaced by a sort of cold floor... Obviously a wrong choice, a pitty indeed since Sao Paulo is not exactly a hot place in clinatic terms. This hotel could receive a higher evaluation from me, but not before they solve the issue I raised above. My recommendation: yes, this is a good choice, but NOT IN WINTER.
Nice clean room with a nice bathroom in the middle of abnice and good neighbourhood. Friendly staff who fullfil every wish with a smile. Nice cozy little bar and seating aerea The roomsvare colourfull and look good. Beds sleep well Good shower Internet ok Nice breakfast
We had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel 5 nights. We will never stay here again. Let me tell you why: - The room's layout is so awkward that the bed is against the window. - The bathroom is too small for two people. Impossible to move in it. - Towels are thin and old. - The bed is awful. The bedsheets are not the proper ones for the bed, so the mattress is exposed all the time. You can't cover yourself properly. - The carpet in the room is old, dusty and smelly. You'll wake up with irritated eyes. - The breakfast area is like Union Station. It's like they invited the entire city to eat there all at once. Impossible to get a table. We had breakfast standing up. - The fruits on the breakfast buffet were past their best moment. - Room doors are the noisiest I have ever experienced. Doors are slammed loudly and continuously. - Cleaning staff have their little party in the corridor.
The hotel itself is not bad. The rooms are ok for a 3 star hotel and the location is very good. However I specifically requested a quiet room and was not informed that they have two construction sites right next to the hotel with unbearable noise. For anyone looking for a quiet stay I would recommend to stay away from this option. As guests I feel we have the right to be informed and not doing so the hotel shows that they don't care about it.
