Decent. Does the trick nothing more. Semi over priced and somewhat run down. Nice enough staff and the area around the hotel is really nice with good restaurants and bars. I have tried better alternatives in SP for the same price.
I do recommend the hotel! The room is clean and comfortable The place is well located, it's nearby good restaurants and others interesting places. What I love the most was the bed, which was really cozy.
Average Mercure, with the usual building style, in a busy neighbourhood. Very central if you have anything to do in Paulista, with excellent restaurants nearby. Average hotel, nice rooms, though. Quite noisy if your room faces rua Pamplona.
Mercure is a fine brand eveywhere, but Mercure Panplona exceed in gentleness of their personnel and confort of their apartments. Quite well located near Avenida Paulista, the hotel is, nonetheless, calm and silent. Breakfast is explendid! Above all, let me reiterate the special attention of their personnel to the guests.
The Mercure Brand, part of the Accorhotels Groups, is a great brand. Hotels are excellent, and overall Brazil, apparently prices have come down significantly. I used to stay a lot in Ibis Budget places, but these days I always get good deals in either Ibis Styles or Mercure in São Paulo. High 5 on most criterias, except the Mercure Pamplona is a few blocks too far down from Trianon-Masp Metro Station in Sao Paulo. On a hot day, walking uphill Rua Pamplona can be tough. One more thing - the smartphone app has some flaws. Whenever I make a reservation for a Mercure Hotel over the browser, the reservation does not show up in the smartphone app. Further - there are 3 IBIS Styles in Sao Paulo, however they are hard to find, both over the accorhotels.com website and google.com. Only the IBIS Styles Anhembi pops up quickly. You might want to review that!!! Thanks a lot, Uwe Fritz, email@example.com
2nd stay in a week!!!! I had an even nicer room. This hotel is brilliant, great position, lots of bars and good shops around, a very safe neighbourhood. All of the staff are brilliant, and the manager is great!!! Thank you.
I stayed here on a work trip for 10 nights which is really quite a long time to spend in a hotel, especially for me! The room was nice and spacious but the bathroom was starting to get a bit dated. The fitness center was small, old and pretty much un-kept. The staff was friendly and the food was OK but reasonably priced.
Friendly and helpful staff, modern spacious room with mini-bar, coffee maker and safe. Comfortable bed and great shower. The space at the entrance at the room seems wasted, too big for a single lounge chair at the corner. We enjoyed breakfast every day.
I booked a double room for one night. The price is fair – I mean, this IS São Paulo and the quality you get for the price is very good. The room is spacious, it has all the usual amenities and then some (there's even tea and an electric kettle, which isn't common in Brazil). It's got a very neat, clean design, a balcony, an excellent shower (big and lots of water), mirrors all around, hair-dryer – everything. Wifi works perfectly in the room, the hotel had a gym and pool and service is good. The location is also excellent: close to Av. Paulista and with lots of supermarkets and restaurants all around.
It´s one of those places they have an ok property but the staff (front desk especially) couldn´t care less if you are a guest. Pros: 1. For a standard room, the room size is ok (big) and well appointed. Cons: 1. Internet is faulty 2. Staff
