Near Beneficiencia Portuguesa and Oswaldo Cruz as well as AC Camargo, this hotel has a business atmosphere and is handy to anyone that need to stay nearby, for meetings or medical treatment. Employees very attentive to your needs, speak English and Spanish pretty well. The traffic by the end of day in this area of SP is always standstill, so expect for some delay when waiting for a taxi or Uber. The Subway is not too far if you're able to walk 10-15min. For the hospitals otherwise, the car is needed as you `climb the hills` to get to them.
Room is an average but the bathroom is no good. Goog location and the service is very good. Easy access. Is also easy to leave the hotel and have access to Sao Pauo city. Nearby restaurants. The hotel restaurant is also good and the price is fare.
Good hotel and service, in general, good too. I requested an early check in on arrival in the morning and due to the delay of the room release they decided not to charge me for going in early. Such a solution was satisfactory.
One of the best cost-benefits when talking about Accor Hotels. It's very well situated, you are very close to the main attractions of São Paulo. The hotel itself is cozy and very comfortable, staff is welcoming and easygoing. The only con is the bed mattress, which is too soft. But I think it's just my view, probably the majority of guests likes that. Other than that, you have a mini kitchen (microwave, mini bar and cutlery), free wifi and cable tv. If you want to spend some time working at the room you have a very large desk behind the bed, very comfortable. Parking is not free, but the price is ok for São Paulo standards (R$ 20/day).
Sao Paulo is not the city you would like to visit, but if you have to be there, this hotel is a good option. Located close to a motorway exit, it is easy to park your car with the valet service. the rooms are spacious and convenient. Breakfast is plenty. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
The hotel was good, but the shower was with problems and the kitchen's light wasn't working. In general, the room was good enough, but can be better. A little suggestion is to have some room instructions printed (like, where we turn on/off the air conditioner, the lights..).
Stayed here for a few nights whilst in Brazil travelling. The hotel itself was nice and the room very big with all the usual extras. The only bad part was the swimming pool which would have been better if it was roofless so that you could sunbathe. The staff were very nice and helpful though and really helped me out whilst I was there. Thanks
Since I was planning to visit Sao Paulo, Brazil again and I have a platinum membership with Accor, I decided to make a reservation at one of their hotels. My agent suggested the Mercure Sao Paulo Central Towers Hotel. I was given a room on one of the upper floors which had a pleasant view of the city. The hotel is within walking distance of the main street which allowed me to mingle with the locals, and also be able to find good sugarcane juice and other multivitamin cocktails. The breakfast buffet at the Mercure's Bonjardin Restaurant is as good as you will find in the most generous hotels, and had all of the basics: fresh orange juice, an omelet station, and a variety of breads including croissant and viennoiseries. In general, the service is average. Their lunch menu features a variety of International dishes . I thought, however, that the place is run down and badly needs a face lift, especially for the guest rooms on which time has taken its toll. It may have been improved by now as I recall a hotelier friend telling me that "It is better to be an excellent two star hotel than a lousy three star." I may reconsider some day and return there. So, to you Accor, I say: do not give up on your French standard of elegance!
Convenient location, close to Liberdade and not far from Brigadeiro. Nice lobby and very good service. Worn out drywall apartaments with makes it very noisy. Good breakfast buffet and not so expensive (R$20) parking
