Aparthotel Adagio Sao Paulo Itaim Bibi

This is an apart hotel with an excellent location: a lot of good restaurants (try Modern Mama Osteria and Due Cuochi, delicious food and friendly service), cafes (Santo Grao and Le Pain Quotidien), markets (fruits, vegetables, cheese and wine at Hortifruti, just at the end of the hotel’s street, turn right on Tabapua Street), grocery store (Minuto Pao de Açucar, not far from Hortifruti) and drugstore. By taxi, in 5 minutes, you’re in Iguatemi Shopping Center. On foot, it’s easy to visit Museu da Casa Brasileira (Brazilian House’s Museum, where you can have a delicious lunch with view to a tranquil garden). A remarkable point of this apart is the staff: everyone is always happy to help you. The breakfast is simple, a little expensive, but good: fruits, juices, cakes, breads, yogurt, eggs, Nespresso coffee or regular one and hot milk. The two ladies that take care of it are adorable. In the room: Air conditioner in both spaces (living and bedroom), a safe and wardrobe. Bathroom with good size and high-pressure shower. Bed is comfortable, but they only have double ones (such a pity, when you are travelling with a friend). The sofa bed is not good for an adult (I found it too short and uncomfortable). The kitchen has the basic: mini bar (with water, juice, beer, coke, all payable apart), micro oven, electric stove top, cups, glasses, forks, knives, spoons, corkscrew, three pans and a kettle, but no coffee machine or toaster, neither sugar, salt, olive oil or minimal things like that. On each floor, 5 rooms, accessible by two elevators. They do not have a lounge area: reception is just a small hall with four chairs and one table. By one side, they keep free water and coffee/tea. They have, also, for selling: ice cream and frozen food. At the entrance, a stair with 5 steps to the reception. By all means, a good experience. Hope you enjoy it, like we did.

The apartment hotel is very good for a short business trip, close to the business centre of Sao Paulo, close to good quality restaurants. The rooms are adequate without being large. Good level of cleanliness, the included breakfast is basic but sufficient.

I had The location of the hotel is very good with many options close like: bars, restaurant, pharmacy, grocery, etc. I used a little bedroom, everything worked good, but the sofa used as a bed was not comfortable.

Happy people, awesome breakfast, wonderful skyline on the roof, room architecture and decoration was wonderful - the kids loved the moving TV between the bedroom and the living, flawless wi-fi, room kitchen with all you need, good parking lot.

Location is perfect! Very close to restaurants, supermarkets, bakery, gym, and all you need. The room is comfortable and offers a lot of space. Kitchen has basic furniture and equipment, but it is enough for basic cooking. The trash should have a plastic bag, once the room has a kitchen, guests probably will have to discard organic trash. Breakfast is not spectacular, but it is good. Laundry should have 1 additional washing machine, just 1 washing machine for aprox. 60 rooms is not enough.

Good location. Parking car at hotel building. It has a mini kitchen but doesn't have napkin/serviette, offers ketlle but doesn't offer tea/sugar/coffee bags. Several restaurantes nearby. There is no metro station.

It is a nice apart hotel. Cost efficient. It is in residential area and walking distance to Faria Lima avenue. Breakfast is expensive and not good though. Staff is helpful and friendly. You can get rents for up to a month.

This aparthotel belongs to the aparthotel chain adagio launched a couple of years ago by the Accord Hotel Group in Brazil. The aparthotel is very well located on a quiet street surround by some very good restaurants and just a short walk from supermarkets and other shops. This hotel before belonged to the Mercure chain of aparthotels from the Accord Group. Unfortunately the aparthotel has two problems. The first and more serious one is that it's WiFi does not work properly. During my stay 90 percent of the time it was not connecting to the Internet. Additionally, my smartphone had difficulty to connecting for some reason from my room. Not a very confortable situation when you are on a business trip. The second problem is the unfortunate renovation of the rooms. The large room that integrated the bed, the kitchen facility, the table with chairs, the sofa and the television was divided, separating the bed to create a mini bedroom that just let enough space for you to walk around the bed. The kitchen facility, table and sofa are in a separe social room with the television on a rotating panel so that it can face the bedroom and the social room. Probably the idea looked great on paper but somebody forgot that the whole space available including the closed bathroom was only 40 square meters. So now the have two small rooms communicated by a complicated door system. The same door closes the bedroom or the social room. To go from the bedroom to the social room you have to squeeze around the door. If it were not for these problems the aparthotel could be rated as very good or even exelent.

We staid just one night while in between two holidays destinations. We needed an hotel with a washing and drying machine capable to handle in few hours our dirty laundry and was centrally located. This worked beautifully and we were happy. The bedroom is not too big and I think it will be hard to stay for many days but the living room is ok. The area is well known for many restaurants do you don't really need to cook in. The street is very quiet, for São Paulo standards, and so is security.

A surprisingly pleasant neighborhood, with trendy bars and restaurants, a great HortiMercado supermarket just around the corner. The staff is pleasant and helpful The rooms are clean, but very oddly designed. We were there for a couple of very hot days and you had to choose whether to keep the living room lukewarm with the bedroom, or hot while the bedroom was cool enough to sleep. The oddest doors in creation. The same door closed off the bedroom or the living room. And to go from one to the other, you had to open the bathroom and into the bathroom. Go figure.
