I should have written this review months ago but what with one thing another never got around to it until now. We had the pleasure of staying here in May 2017 as we flew to Santorini for a family wedding. Unfortunately, 3 days in to our holiday, my father was taken ill (& he was unable to attend the wedding) What could have been an extremely stressful time was made all the more easier to bear due to the exemplary way that Athena and her staff dealt with my family, organising taxis to and from hospital and to pharmacies to collect supplies. We were even able to attend the wedding as Athena kindly arranged for someone to look in on my dad during that evening. I have to say the other guests that were staying here too were all lovely to us and offered any help that we may have needed. Thank you all (Dad is much better too I am glad to say)
stayed here for one week, amazing staff so helpful, you can ask them anything, rooms where spotless peaceful little hotel beautiful little place will be back, perrisa is a nice little town not as Beautiful as some towns in santorini but plenty of places to eat and drink
We stayed in room 55 fantastic room ground floor with jacuzzi, only problem no drawers, tea and coffee kettle cups, large smart tv, shower with toiletries clean towels every day, room cleaned everyday couldn't fault the cleaners that worked very hard, and pool towels supplied. We stayed bed and breakfast but breakfast was the same every day great if you like eggs bit of a let down, maybe if they had put beans or tinned tomatoes on it would have been a change, but overall a great stay, the staff very friendly and i couldn't fault any of them, always smiling, no complaints from me and my friend, Heard people say it's not 5 star and maybe not but the friendlness of the staff was five star. Thank you Anne and Linda
We stayed here for 2 weeks, b&b, and had our wedding in Santorini. The hotel is fairly modern yet retains its greek feel throughout, we have found the beds to be comfortable, sheets and towels changed daily. Plenty of storage space. We had a suite with whirlpool and terrace which was lovely and quiet if you like to lay in the sun with more peace and privacy. The breakfast has been great with a good variety of options hot and cold, especially with it being a small hotel. Athina is a real gem, helped us arrange steaming for my wedding attire and gave us any tips and advice when needed, aswell as just being the most wonderful person to see and speak to. Never known any hotel staff to be so personal and kind to the guests. All staff are friendly and helpful. They decorated our room after our wedding leaving some prosecco too which was a really nice touch. Would definately return. We will be back!
We visited Santorini for our honeymoon, and came to stay at the Meltemi Luxury Suites in Perissa. It is without a doubt the best hotel we have stayed in. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped. The pool area is gorgeous, and you are only a couple of minutes walk away from the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The host, Athena is wonderful, and very knowledgeable about the island. I would highly recommend the hotel, we will certainly be going back!
So happy that we chose the luxury suites. Very private, great balcony with a jacuzzi. Room was very clean and beautifully decorated in greys and whites. Bed very comfortable, good powerful shower and a tranquil feeling in the room. The suites have their own pool which again is very private and the sun loungers are really cushioned - nicer than the ones by the main pool. Breakfast was good, but it is a buffet with only one way to queue so can be very slow and a bit irritating. Only went twice and then gave up and started having breakfast by the beach instead. Would highly recommend the suites, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Would certainly stay here again if I return to Santorini.
My Wife Jane and I visited Meltemi suites for 2 weeks in August. All that I can really do is replicate all of the positives that other reviewers have posted. I really can't think of any negatives. We had a lovely spacious room (room 7) of which was cleaned every day and fresh linen and towels supplied. The pool area was nice and quiet with beds available on a daily basis, such a welcome relief without sunbeds been reserved from 0700hrs like in some of Thomson's other hotels. However, a special mention has to go to Athena, professional and informative at all times and always offering that personal touch of kindness and friendliness. And then there are Athena's assistants, Elpida and Costas. These guys were always there to help and assist with any request, always polite and courteous. Elpida though could do with a bit of timekeeping management as I only ever noticed that she was at work between the hours of 10 and 3 but she assures me that she was there from 8 'til 4, haha.. Not forgetting the cleaning staff, you were all excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and met some lovely people, thanks everyone for making it so special. I would certainly revisit and recommend these Suites.
We stayed here for two weeks in September. The lady who runs the place (Athena) is a fantastic host. Nothing is too much trouble. She truly cares about her visitors and give every single guests the personal touch. The location of the hotel is a two minute walk to the beach where there is lots of bars and restaurants all of which are reasonable prices and the quality of the food is fantastic. We chose a room with a whirlpool bath on the balcony and it was lovely to dip into when the temperature soared, as it did every day. I highly recommend this hotel it has something for everyone.
We stayed at Meltemi Luxury Suites between 12-24 September 17 whilst we were in Santorini we got married. The staff at the hotel were very polite and friendly especially Athina who welcomed us into the hotel with a welcome drink and gave advice on what to do in Santorini. Breakfast was very well stocked with continental breakfasts, fresh fruit, fresh jams, homemade cakes by Athina and a hotplate offering items like bacon, eggs or omelette. Hotel has 13 rooms each with separate access from a courtyard in the centre of the hotel so you'll never hear slamming doors or people taking in corridors. We paid a little extra to have a suite with kitchenette, balcony and jacuzzi which was well worth the money as we were able to make our own lunch from buying some lovely food from the local Bakery and Big supermarket called coop. Athina was very pleased to help me find a local hair dresser Danesis Hair Studio to do my makeup for my wedding. Which worked out perfectly, we never go back to the same place but we are already planning our next visit.
We stayed here the 1st two weeks in September the room and location was lovely on arrival we had upgraded to a room on the 2nd floor with a Jacuzzi which was quite pricey. Overall we did enjoy the 2 weeks in Santorini and the hotel is in a great location although there's a lot of barking dogs in the area and building work directly across the road which is totally out of the hands of the hotel. The hotel as a nice relaxed feel to it and the staff work hard on the upkeep of it however we did feel let down by the hotel management who failed to deal with an our unexpected incident on our third day of our stay. Santorini is a beautiful island and well worth a visit
