Visited this hotel in the summer period. Was upgraded to a junior suite at no extra charge. Room was really fine. We had our own private pool (2x3 meters), so just enough to cool down when the temperature was too high. Food on the hotel was okay. Service was fine.
Basic but clean and comfortable. Food was good and only a short stroll to the beach. Oleg was helpful and friendly. If you want to visit Santorini on a budget this is the place to stay. Kamari area is beautiful and the black beach is lovely.
For 2 stars in Santorini, we liked everything! Location near beach, tasty food and very cheap, clean room and carefully owner - lovely Oleg. We don't expected for too much, because of our low budget, but we were impressed by Kamari - Santorini. The entire island it is an amazing jewelry! For those who wants luxury and high comfort, we recommend Oia and Thira. Or, even Kamari, but hotels with 4-5 stars, for an extraordinary prices! We agree, Narkissos Hotel is a modest one, but the staff is friendly, helpful, lovely and professional. We don't have any problems there. Before we go to Santorini, we checked all reviews, so.... We are grateful for the time spended there, for all that people we met. With low budget we felt amazing! Someday, we'll return to the Narkissos Hotel say 'hello' to mister Oleg.
The host gave me the feeling that I was too much of a bother to him, he always seemed busy with the other guests and the smallest request seemed like too much trouble and annoyance to him. The room was pretty standard, nothing horrible but still it was sub-par I would never stay here again,
Noisy -Old and dirty furniture -0 hygiene -Rude owner -Very very very small bathroom -Poor breakfast -Expensive I dont understand why people write high reviews to this hotel, because it's totally trash in any case. When I went there, they noticed me that cleaning service would be only once in every 3 days. But the most ridiculous was that I was going to stay in hotel 4 days and they clean day after I went there, so other 3 days were all dirty. Ok they changed towels but this happened after a small confusion between me and owner. In the morning, at 11, one woman in pink dress opened the door without any knock. I went down and ask Mr. Oleg about this women and he answered me so rude, that was staff from cleaning service and she knocked 2 times. Also he rudely explained me that terms of "not disturb" card. And when i came back in room I saw this card holded on the door and room cleaned. OK THANKS. In another case, room is so small and bathroom is even that small that isnt enough for 1 person. It was also so dirty and old. After 2 days soap was coming up from the pipes. Room was sooo sooooo noisy. They gave us exactly on the top of the old bar, where people were getting drunk and scream and laugh till late night. Beside people, it was on the street and on the second floor, all the noices from street were coming in. Also in the day... All day was turn on traditional Greek songs. Ok first 2 days was ok but when you listen it 24 hours in a day it's really boring. I spent 296 euros for 4 nights and comparing to this its really disaster. All this 4 night were really nightmare and I didn't had any possibility to relax a bit.
We didn't actually stay at this hotel however we did eat at the restaurant below, the food was absolutely gorgeous and always prepared fresh, would definitely recommend the Hawaiian pizza! The manager was also really friendly even though to start off with he did seem a little cold, would definitely recommend.
I visited Santorini at the very end of the off-season during a trip around Europe. In April, Kamari is basically deserted, populated only by a few locals and some stray cats and dogs. Despite this, I greatly enjoyed my time in Kamari, mainly due to the hospitality of the Hotel Narkissos staff and its owner, Oleg. He is extremely accommodating and an excellent cook - we originally had dinner in the hotel out of laziness but returned for his incredible food. The hotel was a relaxing and comfortable base from which we could explore Kamari in the off-season - a picturesque, yet somewhat eerie experience.
It's a nice place to stay at we liked it, apart from the bathroom which I think could do with massive renovation. Other than that it has a good location there's a bus stop next to the hotel from where you can catch a bus to Thira. A 24hr shop is also min walk from the hotel. It's cosy and the staff are nice too xxx
Nice hotel in Kamari with incredible owner of this place, i mean Mr. Oleg. You have nice place with nice owner and good price. We rented a car so we could every day go to Fira or Oia. The Hotel is very close airport so it simply way to get there. The hotel has smaller and biger rooms so its better first talk to owner.
Very nice stay, amazing manager of the hotel. Very clean and tidy hotel in a very good area. Food and drinks are cheap to compare with other places. Would like to return back and would recommend to everyone.
