We didn't actually stay at this hotel however we did eat at the restaurant below, the food was absolutely gorgeous and always prepared fresh, would definitely recommend the Hawaiian pizza! The manager was also really friendly even though to start off with he did seem a little cold, would definitely recommend.
I visited Santorini at the very end of the off-season during a trip around Europe. In April, Kamari is basically deserted, populated only by a few locals and some stray cats and dogs. Despite this, I greatly enjoyed my time in Kamari, mainly due to the hospitality of the Hotel Narkissos staff and its owner, Oleg. He is extremely accommodating and an excellent cook - we originally had dinner in the hotel out of laziness but returned for his incredible food. The hotel was a relaxing and comfortable base from which we could explore Kamari in the off-season - a picturesque, yet somewhat eerie experience.
It's a nice place to stay at we liked it, apart from the bathroom which I think could do with massive renovation. Other than that it has a good location there's a bus stop next to the hotel from where you can catch a bus to Thira. A 24hr shop is also min walk from the hotel. It's cosy and the staff are nice too xxx
Nice hotel in Kamari with incredible owner of this place, i mean Mr. Oleg. You have nice place with nice owner and good price. We rented a car so we could every day go to Fira or Oia. The Hotel is very close airport so it simply way to get there. The hotel has smaller and biger rooms so its better first talk to owner.
Very nice stay, amazing manager of the hotel. Very clean and tidy hotel in a very good area. Food and drinks are cheap to compare with other places. Would like to return back and would recommend to everyone.
Excellent from all points of view for a budget hotel : - location from beach and bus station - cheap supermarket and car rental just across the street - the cleanest hotel we have ever been to - no matter the stars ( every day cleaning ) - cheap food and tasty also. If you come in Santorini for beach, trips and fun this is the hotel for you :)
Excellent location, nearby Kamari beach and bus stop to Fira ( about 150m ). Supermarket is across hotel like many restaurants and shops. Owner Oleg was very kind and helpfull. Biffe breakfast is very good. Room is clean and comfortable. Free wifi. My reccommendation. Thank YOU Oleg for great hospitality.
Pros: centrally located, clean room, an easy walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants, friendly staff, wifi was good. Cons: horribly uncomfortable mattresses, tiny bathroom with slow draining shower and strange smell, and a jug in the porch for the ac unit to drip into. After our two night stay, the jug was full of water and leaked. I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again as it was a good deal, but it definitely wasn't my best Airbnb find.
The hotel is in a good location, very close to the bus station and the Kamari beach, a supermarket is also near. The owner Oleg is a great guy. He is there early and leave late. He is happy to help you with any problem. The room is clean and comfortable. I had a pleasant stay here. Only shortcoming is weak wifi signal, maybe it's only my room. There are three wifi and no channel works for me. Nonetheless, highly recommend this fantastic hotel.
Small establishment of the old Greek style. The rooms are basic but adequate. Mine was on the small side but I was alone. Possibly a problem for a couple. There was very limited storage space and the bathroom was tiny. Just room on the balcony for table and two chairs. There were, however, rooms with bigger balconies at the front so the rooms were probably bigger. On the plus side, the room was clean and towels and sheets changed two or three times in my five days. The WiFi was excellent and the shower had plentiful and powerful hot water (two essentials for me). The location is very good, at the end of the beach nearest to the rock on the top of which sits ancient Thera. It is very close to the bus stop, with a super market and laundry across the road and a short walk down to the beach. There is a very good travel agent on the corner on the way to the beach and a lot of restaurants on the way. The breakfast is a bit of a let down. 4 Euros for a few cold items (cereal, cake, etc). I just wanted a coffee and was told it was four Euros whether I had the other items or not. get your breakfast outside! If this sounds like a negative review, it is not meant to be. If you spend your room as a base and want a good shower and WiFi in a great location, this is excellent value for money. You can get better for double the price (or much much more in this area) if you need a pool or sea-view.
