We stayed 3 nights in April 2018. The room is a good standard but not special. The view is excellent. Both Maria (front desk) and Sonja (breakfast and housekeeping ) were very friendly and extra helpful. The hotel is located just steps from the main footpath to Oia and Fira. Maria arranged for a local guide to take us on a 1/2 day tour of the south of the island and he was excellent.

Just arrived back from a four night stay at Avianto suites. Very happy with the whole experience, the room, terrace and views looked just as we had seen on the website so did not disappoint! The views really are spectacular and we spent a lot of time just gazing out to sea and taking lots of photographs! The lovely lady, Sonia, who brings along the breakfast and does the cleaning was so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our breakfast selection. Great choice of food and everything we had was delicious and plentiful! Loved the champagne with breakfast - a very special and unexpected surprise!

We stayed here for 3 nights in October. We had spent 4 nights in fira and had done all of our trips and exploring so we were looking for 3 days chilling with amazing views and we were not disappointed! Even from the initial check in, Maria on reception was fantastic. We stayed in the marvellous suite with the private hot tub and it was just wow! Some guests have commented that it's overlooked however they have installed an awning which you can use for privacy. We did not feel too overlooked other than one day where a couple undertook a lengthy photo shoot above us (but we rather enjoyed the entertainment value ;) Each day we were served breakfast on our private terrace which was lovely. Breakfast was served by Sonia who was friendly and even brought us champagne on our second morning and some cake to try! Sonia also cleans the rooms and the whole place was spotless! From all of the terraces you can see sunset so we spent sunset here most nights before heading out to dinner. Try Anogi. Lovely restaurant about 5 mins away serving authentic Greek food. There are lots of supermarkets close by as well as a bakery so we stocked up on beers and sandwiches and pastries for lunch as well as champagne for sunset so we really didn't move! On our final day we had arranged a taxi to the airport at midday and when Maria realised she allowed us to stay in our room for an extra hour rather than sit in reception! Nothing was too much trouble! Five star service and views! For a couple who totally struggle to 'do nothing' usually, we didn't want to move from the hot tub or views! Would return in a second!

Awesome view. Due to its great location I don't think you can get a better view in Imerovigli. It is on the top of the hill, which also makes access easy. Short walk to the bus stop. 3 restaurants within a baseball throw away. Maria is very helpful and Sonja makes a great breakfast as well as leaves the rooms spotless. Our departure was very early and was pleasantly surprised when they made some breakfast up for us the night before. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

For the first time in Santorini, me and my fionce can say with confidence that our stay at Avianto Suites in Imerovigli was perhaps our finest hotel experience ever. We spent 8 nights in Santorini, which was a dream comes true, but the best part of our stay had to be the hotel and its exceptional service. All of the staff here are helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic. From the moment we arrived, until the moment we checked out the hotel’s service was amazing. Sonya, immediately treated us like family. Her constant attention to our needs and enthusiasm to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Greece added that much more to our trip. Maria the hotel manager offered her's insights on the island, and made recommendations for daily activities and dining that tailored to our personalities. There was not one of her's recommendations that turned out to be anything but spectacular! A gourmet breakfast is delivered to your room every morning at whatever time you desire. The breakfast menu itself is incredible and provides a range of options for you to choose from. The hotel rooms are enjoyable and provide a Greek Island feeling, but provide plenty of upscale amenities to enhance your stay. Amazing world class view to the volcano and South Aegean sea leves you breathless every time you look ot of the windows of your suite. The hotel is located in the beautiful village of Imerovigli situated a 20 minutes walk through a beautiful path to the capital of Santorini Fira. We had many activities but must have is Catamaran cruise, sunset cruise and Santorini tour that makes your trip to this beautiful piece of land complete, also had the privilege of doing a wine tasting with Santorinian traditional wineries which was one of the most exiting parts of our trip. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, we will highly recomended take a tour to Skaros rock whitch is situated one minutes walk from Avianto . There are so many beautiful places to visit, from traditional cycladic style churches and windmills to beautiful villages such as Fira, Akrotiri, Imerovigli, Ia, Pyrgos ,Emporio, and many more.. its amazing ! There are plenty of other details I could mention, but it would be too much to write for this review. Thank you, Maria, Sonya and the rest of the staff for giving us such an incredible experience. We will certainly be back! σας ευχαριστώ ! Warm regards, Bobby&Hristina

Avianto Suites may not be the best hotel in Imerovigli, but what it lacks in luxury is compensated with the magnificent view when one arrives at the hotel and the service that Maria and Sonia provides. Maria was ever helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do in Santorini while Sonia provides breakfast with a smile each morning. Stayed 4 nights, and would have loved to stay longer.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in July: peak season. But, the staff was very nice and helpful. We got recommendations for restaurants and nightlife from them, and any questions we had they were very great in getting back to us. The view is beautiful. We had the honeymoon suite which has the jetted tub on the balcony. The room itself was well maintained and cozy. All in all, it was a great stay.

We stayed at Avianto Suites for 7 nights in the Marvelous Suite. The room is one of two with an outdoor hot tub and guests in the Marvelous Suite have to pass the other room (the Spectacular Suite) to get to the room; consequently the Marvelous Suite has more privacy. The Suite itself was excellent and the service provided by Maria and Sonia was first class. Maria was really helpful with tips about restaurants, tours, etc. while Sonia kept the room spotless and provided us with some amazing feasts for breakfast. In fact, the breakfast was so filling that we didn’t need to eat at lunchtime throughout our entire stay. As for the view, well it was marvellous, spectacular or any other superlative you can think of especially when viewed from the hot tub. Imerovigli was also a good place to stay and not overrun with fellow tourists like Fira and Oia, and there were enough restaurants for a variety of dining options. So why have I only given Avianto Suites 4 stars after praising it so highly? I must point out that it has nothing to do with Maria or Sonia who gave a 5 star service. We booked the room almost a year in advance as we would be staying over the Easter holidays. We specifically requested the Marvelous Suite because of the extra privacy and we were assured the room had been booked so imagine our surprise when on the first night after arriving late, we were met by the hotel porter and shown to the Spectacular Suite and told the Marvelous Suite was occupied. Fortunately the problem was resolved the next day as the occupants of the Marvelous Suite were moving on but it wasn’t a good start to the holiday. The other reason for not awarding 5 stars related to the payment for the hotel. When I booked I was told payment would be taken from my credit card at the end of January. When this didn’t happen I enquired to find out when payment would be taken and was eventually told that I could pay on arrival. On the day we left our home to go to the airport I received a credit card statement which showed that the payment had been taken. If the statement had come the following day I would have arrived at Avianto Suites not knowing I had already paid. To be fair, the owner contracts out management of the Suites and during the year the owner changed managers so that could explain the issues we experienced. Hopefully other guests won’t experience the same problems and this was just a glitch. But we did have these needless problems, hence we have not awarded the 5 stars which Avianto (especially the service provided by Maria and Sonia) is worthy of receiving.

We recently returned from a holiday to Santorini and stayed at Avianto Suites whilst there in the Wonderful Suite. Our stay was perfect, the views, the room and of course the staff were brilliant. Maria made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, always helpful, friendly and willing to give useful recommendations. She arranged a boat trip for us, a buggy so we could drive to the beach and phoned restaurants to book us dinner reservations. All of this was done with a beaming smile, nothing was ever a problem. She offered us complimentary champagne whilst we were sunbathing or taking a dip and on our last night we asked if she could take a photo of us on the balcony, she went above and beyond to get the perfect picture for us and spent about five minutes with us getting the best picture. Breakfasts were fabulous and we felt truly spoilt having it every morning on our balcony overlooking the stunning Caldera. Sonia did an excellent job of ensuring we had everything we needed at breakfast, which she always served with a smile. The rooms were always clean, as was the outdoor area. We are definitely looking forward to coming back one day. Thanks for making our holiday extra special!

We were lucky enough to stay here for one night at the end of our holiday in Santorini. The area and view could not be beaten and the service we received was out of this world. Our delicious breakfast, made to order, was served on our balcony by Sonia and what can beat a glass of wine in the hot tub at the end of the day overlooking the Caldera .... Many thanks for Maria, Sonia and the owners for looking after us. We appreciated everything and hope to return soon.
