I will forever remember my Room7! I think it is the best room ever! i have my own balcoy and jacuzzi overlooking the sea! Everyday I walk out my room door, I couldnt help but hold up my phone to take pictures. No matter it was daytime or nightime, the perfect caldera view is still soooooo stunning! Since I was unfortunate enough that my airline misplace my luggage before arriving at Santorini, I was looked after the moment I checked in. Special thanks: Maria (who had helped me arrange my photo tour photographer, the pickup, etc beforehand) Erica (who looked after us when we were staying there booking car rentals, directing us to where to replace my essentials) Mike (who was so helpful in keeping my jacucci clean and bringing us breakfast to our room on time, AND CARRYING THE super heavy luggages up and down the caldera stairs!) The stay at Armeni was wonderful and the location is exactly where you want to be in santorini!
We stayed in Armeni village for 3 days in the cave room with caldera view. Though one can not see the sunset from balcony, but the caldera view was just perfect and well worth it. The hotel is right in the middle of main Street of Oia, so most of the restaurants are only a few meters away. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is very basic and small, but the entire experience was completely worth it.
Our cave house apartment was in a perfect location! In the heart of all that Oia has to offer, and yet not in the super crowded center. It is down some stairs so one gets the feeling of Santorini, yet it is not a chore to go back & forth to your room several times per day. Having breakfast brought to your room or eating it on your private patio is a lovely way to start the day! And your choice of 2 small but lovely private pools is very welcome on those hot Santorini afternoons. A perfect cave house – both in location, comfort, and service.
Don’t choose this hotel. My room smelled like cat pee, and when I told them the only thing they did was spray some fragrance... which obviously didn’t make a difference. The wifi doesn’t work in the rooms, it connects but it’s so slow you can’t even send texts. The bathroom is kind of gross, and the shower isn’t great either. The beds were super uncomfortable, small, and the breakfast was quite poor... We got a triple room with a very small queen bed and a tiny bed that was super uncomfortable. It was like 60cm wide (2 feet). The staff was nice but their recommendations were not useful at all. Do not recommend. If I come back to Santorini, I will 100% NOT come back to this hotel.
We had the closest suite on the cliff .... it was only the sea view which was visible even from our Bed .... An amazing Caldera View and a whole Santorini !! Room was too good n clean ... nice jacuzzi ... breakfast was nicely served and had prompt services !!! A mersmerising vacation !!!
This place location is stunning... breathtaking views of the Caldera, private and quiet place with amazing service. Maria, Ana and Erika where always there to help and reccomend! It is the best place to stay for couples... it feels like a honeymoon in the sky.... close to everything also.
Visiting Santorini was on my bucket list so I can check this one off. The Armeni village offers a number of suites built into the cliff as many other homes or hotels in Oia. The view is just magical and it was wonderful to have this experience. Our suite was spacious with one bedroom. Perhaps i have American standard but I feel the bathroom while very clean could have an upgrade,( older fixtures). This is a very small drawback and it would not prevent me from coming back. The hospitality was else where in Greece is amazing.
We enjoyed it. Location was wonderful. Not really a hotel in any traditional sense. No lobby. No walls, nothing that made it clear that your room on the side of this cliff had any relationship to other rooms. That is a slight exaggeration. We did figure out that our neighbors above, below and next door were all owned by the same place. Room was small and a/c had a hard time reaching into the depths. Breakfast had to be preordered and it was brought to the terrace outside the room where there were a few tables with umbrellas and a small 8’x10’ pool that was perfect to cool off in and watch the city at night. No other meals or food service available. So, a bit more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, but, as I said in the beginning, the location was to die for.
We loved our stay at Armeni Village. The rooms were simple but in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and in a lovely central location. Breakfast was delivered to the terrace outside our room each morning and we could not have asked for a better way to start the day. The staff were extremely helpful - from making restaurant bookings and recommendations, arranging transfers and helping with luggage, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for having us!
This was not our first visit to Greece or the Greek islands but it was a first to Santorini. My partner and I were very happy with our choice of stay in Armeni Village, Oia. A big bonus is that the hotel is situated in a central location so that it is easy to move around town. Our room was in a quiet position, far from tourists and sightseers; from our balcony we had a fantastic 180° view of the sea and the caldera. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning and we enjoyed a relaxing start to our day. A few metres away from the room there was small swimming pool and sunning area. A big thank you to Maria from reservations and also to Erica and Anna from the front desk who were always friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend Armeni Village to anyone visiting Santorini.
