Every second we were in Santorini was made better by this hotel and staff! We called and were greeted off the ferry by their fantastic driver who pointed out things and told us about the area. Once received at the hotel, we were given lemon sented towels and glasses of water. We were promplty checked in, given a personal4tour of the hotel and our bags were delivered to our room! Everything was so fantastic! The next day, they assisted us in renting a Polaris Razor type vehicle to drive all day. Our second day, we were offered a hot tub suite for lower than our travel agent could do! I could have lived in that room! Staff was so nice and always greeted you with a smile and a Good Morning! I cannot say enough about how nice everyone and everything was. If we ever return, we wouldnt think of staying anywhere else!!
I had a weekend getaway to Santorini and stayed at Aressana hotel. I highly recommend it - it's in a great location near shops, city centre, restaurants, bus station and travel agencies. The hotel is very clean and the staff welcoming, helpful and polite. The rooms are updated and very clean. They offer a very nice greek buffet breakfast in the morning for free. The cuisine in the restaurant is amazing and highly recommend taking meals there. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!
Fira or Oia? That's always a question when choosing where to stay in Santorini. I preferred Fira because in September it looked less crowded and the prices were more reasonable than Oia. Aressana is not a cheap boutique hotel, though, but that is expected in Santorini. But the value is there for all the right reasons: the location is excellent given that you only walk a bit to reach the hotel after you are dropped off a close street; also, the service is terrific: they will help you even when you have work to do during your vacation; and finally, the rooms are spacious, clean and the bathroom is modern. In addition to that, breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options for all tastes. I did not have time to try their main restaurant for lunch or dinner because I wanted to go out every night. Having said all that, I have to mention that the hotel helped me book excellent tours, including a road trip around the island with their van. Concierge and front desk staff were fantastic and they made the difference. If I am giving a five-star rating for the hotel, it is mainly because of the wonderful staff.
We had 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. We booked 2 rooms as there was 3 people travelling, and what a surprise it was. We arrived at the hotel to welcome cold drinks and had time to rest while we catch our breath. Checkin was a breeze and then we where shown through the hotel. We where shown to our rooms. Kings size bed big spacious rooms and bathroom and great outdoor area. It was just superb as was the whole complex. The only disappointment was the in house restaurant "Fusion" which we ate at the first night very pricey and the servings we minuscule. Plenty of places to eat elsewhere better value and plenty to eat. The pool area was a great place to chill out in the afternoon with a cocktail or 3. The staff where more than helpful and the shuttle to the ferry port very convenient. I will definitely stay here again without question breakfast was excellent plenty of choices hot or cold and wonderful Greek treat each morning. For 2 rooms the rates where very good for money. Thank u Aressana we all had a lovely stay
Me and my girl stayed 4 nights at this beautiful hotel at the begining of October! Being also a hotelier I can assure everyone for the high standards of Service, Cleanliness and Comfort! The rooms are spacious, clean and very cozy, breakfast is amazing with Greek flavours and the staff is super polite and really helpfull! The spa was a really good experience as well and should not be missed! Special thanks to Alexandros who made our stay unique! We will be back (hopefully soon) !
The hotel is in a good location for walking into the town centre and also for viewing sunsets over the caldera - unfortunately you can't really see them from the hotel as it is set back behind another hotel from the coastline. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast had plenty of choice. I would recommend the hotel however there are a couple of downsides I would point out. The drinks are expensive which prompted us to go to the cocktail bars on the coastline as, although the drinks were cheaper are similar prices, you had a fantastic view and atmosphere. Secondly, I had a massage which was 85 Euros for an hour. I was back in my room within 45 minutes so I really don't think it was value for money. My appointment was 3 p.m. you are asked to arrive 10 mins early to complete paperwork which I did and my husband was surprised to see me back at 3.45 p.m. I didn't have a watch on so I wasn't aware of the time. The therapist was very nice but I didn't get a full hour.
We visited Santorini for short visit (4 days) with family. Excellent location within city centre, next to Akrotiri Museum. Large, clean rooms, with coffee making machine in the room, wide, balconies. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
I had planned a romantic stay at the end of Oct and the hotel met all my requirements; which was just perfect!! We booked a shared airport transfer which is (€30 one way) but heard it was cheaper via taxi. Will do better reseach next time. The hotel is located literally a minute of Fira square and have beautiful views. Great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Upon arrival we received a scented washcloth and ice cold cucumber water. The room was luxurious/comfy, bathroom facility was excellent, there is a safe and mini fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water everyday. The bonus was we were upgraded to a wonderful pool side view. The little touches with chocolates/sweets on our pillow each day was such a nice touch. The staff really go out and beyond to meet your needs. Breakfast: A great selection of greek style offerings, cooked breakfast and their french toast and freshly squeezed orange juice is a must try! If you have dietary requirements book in advance and they will accomodate. Dinner: It was nice but not the best. Their portions are small for the price and slightly pretentious...best stick to local restaurants. Otherwise I 100% recommend this cute hotel and i really want to go back!!! To the same room as well =) Please take me back!!
Great location, helpful staff, good price. October was a good time to go, without crowds and summer heat. Breakfast was included. I would stay there again the next time I go to Greece. Just a short walk to pick up bus tours.
We visited Santorini for a family wedding and chose the Aressana for its location in Fira. My parents also came....they have limited mobility so Santorini is not ideal given its hills and steps. As a result, they spent quite a lot of time in the hotel and the staff were absolutely wonderful, they really couldnt do enough for you. I particularly want to thank the two ladies at breakfast, Izabel and especially Eleftheria who also worked the bar in the evenings (with heinsight, I should have arranged to keep in touch with her as she was so lovely...hugs and tears on the day we left) The hotel itself is in a fantastic location only yards from the main shopping, bar and restaurant area and a beautiful sunset can be viewed just around the corner. I really can't recommend this hotel enough, its stunning and beautifully presented, we even got a little sweet treat each evening...a nice touch Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay!!! Mick, Tracy, Joan & Bill.
