Asterolithos is only a small hotel but is ideally placed to enjoy all the sights of Fira but just far enough away from the bustle to be able to relax in peace away from the crowds. The rooms are spacious contain everything you need and are very clean. The friendly and knowledgeable Maria was at hand with information on the local sights and restaurants.

With the group I travelled with we had two rooms, one was a triple and the other had a double bed and single. Each room had a dining table and a basic kitchen. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The hotel was in a good central location. It is within walking distance from the Fira bus station and close to local restaurants and what I believe to be the only purely vegetarian place on the island (it’s called falalfel land). They serve no meat at all.

At our very first trip to Santorini during our summer vacation in the first week of August we had the pleasure to stay at this very good hotel. We arrived early in the morning, so the room wasn not ready but that was no problem the very friendly lady at the reception kept an eye at our luggage and we could explore the main town of Fira. After receiving our room keys way earlier than the told check-in time we moved in our spacious room at the ground level. The lady gave us a quick instruction in the AC and the room itself. She was very friendly and had an answer to every question we had. The room itself could not been better for a couple. We had everything we needed at our stay. The AC worked fine with an remote control, a little fridge was attached to strore bottles of water. The bath is very new with erverything you need for example an hairdryer. There was also a table in the room to use as office desk or for the ladys to put makeup on. At this desk we found free cookies for us and an water heater with coffee pads. These are the little things that make you feel good after your arrival. There is also an locker attached in the closet. In summary this room was perfect! We also had our own little balcony space - nice to have and relax after exploring Fira. There was not anything we missed during our stay. The second day we found our room cleanded from bottom to top after being away for a couple of hours - very attentively. The hotel is in the perfect spot to evrything. Right in the heart of Fira evrything is walkable up to 5 minutes. The best breakfast at the Pelican Kipos Bar/Restaurant is only 2 minutes away. Although you are in the heart of the main town in the evening this hotel has an quiet ambiance especially during the night time. Thank you for the great stay Asterolithos. 5 out of 5 stars. If we are back we will definitely book again.

Very nice room tucked away in a perfect location in Fira. Few mins walk to the shops, restaurants, caldera. We had a family room sleeping 4, which was actually a two roomed style apartment with fridge and kitchenette. The owner brought us chocolate croissants and orange juice. No complaints. Reasonable price. Tucked away off the main roads so nice and quiet.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was decent. The room was large and clean, and had a kitchenette, but smelled of disinfectant. The staff was helpful, but there were no significant amenities. Location was good, close to town center, but it's a little hard getting to the hotel (Google maps gave wrong directions, and it's not on a street where you can park - it's in an alley off the main street). Good for one night.

We really loved this hotel. It is small and has a ton of charm as a boutique hotel. It can be a little hard to find and you will have to park your car and walk a bit to it but other than that we had a great stay. The reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The laid back charm of those there added to the great experience. We had a family room (only available at booking) and it was very spacious. The bathroom was done very well with amenities build. The 2p check in time is firm so you need to plan for that. We will be recommending this hotel to all our friends and family that plan on going to Santorini in the future as well as staying there again ourselves.

Very new rooms with everything you need. There is desk, mini refrigerator, hot water boiler for tea, vanity desk. Strong wifi and easy walking distance to shopping/food areas. All new renovations. Very clean and great customer service. Good pricing too.

We stayed here 4 nights in September for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The location is great, just 2 minutes to the street to find something to eat or drink and about 5-7 minutes to walk to the main street with the caldera views. The staff was so helpful, even holding our luggage the last day until the evening and calling us a cab before we boarded out flight. The room was HUGE- one queen bed, a twin bed, a kitchen and large dining area. Our room opened to the lower patio which was actually nice because it kept our room cooler. For the price, location and service you can't go wrong!

We stayed 2 nights here in October. This is not the Marriott hotel. This is a small family fun hotel. We splurged and booked the suite with a pool on the deck. It is spacious with two rooms. The entire suite has really cute furnishings. The deck has comfortable but simple furniture. The hot tub was more of a pool - it wasn’t extremely warm but it was pleasant for the temperatures. The pool/ hot tub could easily fit 2-3 people but no more. However for a private deck pool, I didn’t expect much more. They had good customer service. They are about 1 block from the main road and about 5 min walk from the bus station, 4 min from the taxi station (although you could just catch one on the street), 5 min walk from the main caldera. The only really tricky part was finding the place. It’s tucked away off an alley way and has small signage. We had to call for directions - which they were really good at giving. Once we found it - it was super convenient. Overall, we would highly recommend. We had a lovely time and would stay here again happily.

This is more of an apartment, it had very basic items provided and we just got a sheet to sleep under, no blanket so it did get cold at night. It was pretty informal however it was in a great location and it was pretty close to the main bus station which was a huge plus. It's on a quiet street with the tour street quite near by. The room was much bigger than expected and overall well worth the price we paid for it.
