The staff is friendly and the shower is great. The elevator situation is terrible. Prepare to wait. The windows in the rooms do not open & there is no fan to suck air out of the bathroom. The whole room steams up when you shower-and if someone makes a #2 in the toilet: there are no fans anywhere to suck air out of the room or bathroom and no windows that open-it's disgusting. They also like to rip their customers off with taxis. The taxi guy will set you up for 1500 or 2500 pesos to take you somewhere. The same ride if you use any of the ride share apps or call for your own taxi would be 3-400 pesos. It's a hustle that is disrespectful to hotel guests. They count on Americans & other foreigners not knowing any better so they rip them off with excuses like, well the guy we call is safe so you have to pay more. Its a shakedown. They have the gall to charge about 25-30 US dollars for the breakfast buffet that didn't look very appealing--in an area surrounded by a ton of restaurant options. Do you know how far 30 dollars should go in the D.R.? Again: they disrespect their customers by charging such high prices for food. Be warned: The hotel will charge you $50 if a friend comes to visit you-even if its for just a few minutes in the morning. The location is great. The staff is incredibly friendly, the room was quite clean, and they do try to accommodate special requests. They charge about $100 a night for a room. There are much better values for less money in the D.R.

This is my fourth time staying this year at this property, and this time, I had the opportunity to interact with several people I would like to thank as they were the most helpful, diligent, and customer-driven service staff I could have: Omayra, Yerissa, Jholainy, Francisco, and Diana. I'm missing two gentlemen who helped me check in and out, but unfortunately, I was in a hurry and couldn't get their names. Way to go, keep working hard and with that charm and smile that distinguishes you.
Like: the area where it is located. Don't Like: It doesn't have a gym on the property, even though the Body Shop is a very good gym.
It looks to me like an old hotel, with no rugs, no gym on-site, etc.
