The room is outdated, changing of sheets rarely (never) and 7th floor was horrendous. The worst food I ever had in the Dominican Republic;however, some of the staff were decent. Nonetheless, the hotel has potential,but, it needs work.

The staff were rude upon arrival they provided no information or directions to the parking lot. The late night front desk staff made me wait to answer questions because he was ordering food, upon entering the room the staff that took us upstairs took pictures of items inside the fridge. When leaving the cleaning staff asked if we were checking out already which I found very unprofessional, I had to say good morning twice to the front desk staff during the morning because he did not say good morning back and the head of security (tall guys with a suit) was arguing with a male maintenance worker as we were putting our bags inside our car. The staff all need to be trained in etiquette, ooh yes, the check in staff asked my wife for copies of her ID while correcting me about how I booked our stay. I wont be returning to this hotel ever, and people visiting the country should avoid this place.

Checking was a whopping 45 min on a long line because There was only one person working the desk up front on a Friday mid afternoon. To be fair, although the experience wasn’t the greatest the security guard was attentive and professional in handling my bags and walking me straight to my room I did appreciate that. Although the smell in the halls are of wet damp the rooms themselves are big and comfortable. For the price u can’t beat it. I had a great ocean view. The food upstairs by the bar was delicious ,… and the atmosphere of the open bar and scenery with a performance was delightful. Please consider fixing the bathroom toilets as they are broken on the sides and was painful while seated , also be an awareness of used water bottles as I found one open bottle water inside the fridge. If you can fix those minor issues it would be appreciated by all.

Overall stay was ok. Had stay in the past and enjoyed our stay so we came back. Property is not like before but its decent. There are no comforter in the room only sheets. Staff are nice and friendly. Booked two rooms however, when I came to the hotel said I only booked one room. They still did give me two rooms and was charged for both room when I arrived. If you can pay for a room beforehand, you should. We got charged more than it was advertised when booking.
