Good location to get to airport for early departure. Some sketchy activity in surrounding area, beach with lots of local vendors, not relaxing. Room clean, bed comfortable, local feel to the place.

PROS: staff members are what made the stay pleasant. John, the nightman was always cheerful and kind. Mercedes, housekeeper, greeted us always with a smile. Rona, bartender, made excellent drinks and was very accommodating. Caesar, always in good spirits and jovial. And Octavio, always laughing, but most importantly took us to the pharmacia for food poisoning meds. WIFI is great. CONS: Room, twin, super cramped. Pics on other travel websites are incorrect accord to mgr and said if you want to upgrade to what you thought you were getting, it would be an extra $440. Front desk didn't tell us about onsite dining, tours, things in the area, didn't see the "exercise room" either. We were kind of on our own, had to ask locals about everything. MY ADVISE TO YOU: keep expectations to a minimal, think of your stay as a cabin like when camping.
Great Bread and breakfast style hotel on the beach in BOca Chica. Excellent location to just spend a weekend and get away from it all. The rates are comparable and room is reasonable. Just a cool place to relax. Beach is behind the hotel. Local food behind the hotel. Great scenery!
I like staying n Zapata hotel everything as perfect as expected and ocean view from room balcony was really nice .they tried to help me in everything with nice smile will be back again next year
the main staff was nice and personable. breakfast choices are lacking. especially absence of fresh fruit for a tropical carribean island.

Saludos, no todos los tipos de habitaciones tienen neveras, si le es necesaria una sería conveniente reservar una que si tenga o solicitarle al personal si es que necesita guardar algo.

We have pictures of any different rooms we have, but you need to see the pictures for a Two Single Room, it is the same room you had. of course if you see the picture of the room Deluxe studio suite and you booked a Two Single Room, you will not receive what you see in the picture. We have the size of each room in the information you can select what you feel more conforable with. You couldn't see the "exercise room" because we do not have an exercise room. maybe you saw this information in another hotel while you where looking for a hotel to book. Thanks for been with us at hotel zapata, if we have the opportunity of having you again in the hotel, we will improve all we did before.
