The room was bad, ac wasn't working, owner's son was notified but he seems not to care so we had to spend the night without AC! Then we were moved to another room in the morning where the sink was broken and there was no water and nothing was done about it and we had to brush our teeth with my own bottle of water, the owner's son offered us a free meal like that was enough!! The stuff was amazing even the owner was nice but the hotel it's falling apart and needs lots of work. My friend asked for coffee and knowing the owner that there was coffee and all we were going through refused to give him coffee. Atleas the kitchen was very clean and organized but again that hotel need lots of work before it can be called HOTEL. It's sad such a great area very convenient right inside the beach and walking distance to everything.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!The room was perfect, the treatment made me feel like a princess! I only have 3 suggestions: 1- to put a handle on the pool. 2- to have more "criollo" menu options. 3- to keep a good amount of Coke Zero available. The place felt like I was visiting my old relatives' house. So cozy, perfectly decorated and the cleanliness was impecable! I'll definitely stay there my next trip to DR.

Great Juneteenth stay

The location of the stay was perfect, literally steps from the beach--we were thankful for that. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff is A-1. The only problem I can say there is with the place, is the size of the beds. If you're on the smaller side, you have nothing to worry about. But if you're on the bigger side and plan on sharing a bed, you better choose a bigger bed

Horrible stay. Receptionist was not friendly. Went there with my elderly mother and we were placed on the third floor. Sink had a leak, shower curtain was too short, so the water from the shower got everywhere. Outdated windows, you can hear eveyone talking and laughing in the pool area and street. Music was blasting in the neighborhood until late. There’s a dog that barked the whole night. My mother brush her teeth and got sick. We stayed in other hotels in the area and this did not happen. The water smelled and tasted horrible, I’m lucky I did not get sick. Regret staying here.

the best part of this property is its beach. From all the options at Boca Chica, this beach appears to be the cleanest, wide, walkable beach. We love the beach. The property also is clean and well kept. The local street area is somewhat rundown but we had no safety issues. We paid extra for a balcony facing the beach and a larger room and we were very happy that we did so. We asked the service to clean our room each day and that kept the bathroom smell down. The complementary breakfast was very good, and other meals can be cooked for a fee. The food was good. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
