Breakfast is very pleasant ! My room had a fan replaced, and the new fan base is smarter than the old fan and absolutely no patchwork has been done or will be done ! So basically at the base of the fan you have a whole 1 inch room At times guests and staff were loud

Greeted and taken to our room immediately. The gentleman help carry up luggage. He then took us to a store close by for a beer. The room could have use a new bed. Spouse had the breakfast and said it was really good. We would stay here again.

Stayed at Hotel Casa Aluge in Zona Colonial and had a great experience. The location is perfect — you can walk to restaurants, historic sites, and cafés within minutes. The rooms need an upgrade, but are clean, comfortable, and well air-conditioned, which is a big plus in Santo Domingo. Breakfast was included and very fresh each morning — simple but delicious and homemade-style. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay feel welcoming and personal.
