My fiancé and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazing. The breakfast options were amazing. The restaurant was amazing as well. Our server at the restaurant, Ivan, spoke perfect English and served us all three times we ate at the restaurant, no matter where we sat. It was very lovely that he remembered us and made it a point to serve us. Also, booking through Orbitz was amazing, absolutely no hidden fees. The hotel recommended a driver, Manuel, he was very punctual and spoke perfect English, he also gave good food recommendations near the hotel. The only disappointment was the pool. It was not well kept. The water level was low, below the first step and the water was cold. We had plans on relaxing by the pool throughout our trip but we were in able too. Overall, it was a lovely trip and we will definitely be back.
Provided room with door lock even not working. Cleaning crew throw personal toiletries later try to collect from garbage when complained. Breakfast orders makes lots of mistakes and finally give up not to eat. Hilton should retain staff.

THIS is my hotel for Santo Domingo as long as I continue to travel there.
Nice hotel with good location near stores and restaurants. But we were led to believe they were free drinks on Tuesday and free barbecue on Wednesday. My girlfriend is Dominican so we know what we heard. But actually they were only free Cuba libres and the barbeque is expensive. At night the area is full of young men who my Dominican friends told me were dangerous and we should avoid walking at night. Sadly the ample police presence during the day is not there at night. The free breakfast is good and a large selection of food but the coffee is kept in carrafes and was not hot.
One of the single best rooms and hotels I ever stayed in all my travels thus far. Not big, not small but just right.

I very much enjoyed my stay. Loved the room service food and the breakfast. Extremely clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Location is a plus.
We got to the hotel after spending all day shopping at SD malls, really tired looking forward to a nice dinner, unfortunately the Kitchen closes at 7pm and there is no room service. Luckily for us we had brought a nice layout of antipasto and lots of water. We sat at 9pm to enjoy it, but by 9:10 pm we were both soaked of sweat, the A/C was not working, we called for help, and in the nicest and most attentive way they started promising to fix it immediately. By 12, we were fading to sleep to their promises and even as I was asking to forget it, that we would endure the lack of air since there was a fan above the bed that could allow for us to endure the heat, they kept calling with promises and would not take in my request to forget the issue, by now we had been waiting for the A/C to be fixed sin 9 pm and we were dead tired. At 1 am the opened the room across the hall from us so we could sleep there, by 2 am the room was cool and we thought that was the end of it and we could now rest. By 3 am the room was freezing and the covers they provide are exactly the same as the ones provided in hospitals, if you ever been to one you know that they are cheap and itchy covers that are either too hot or never protect you from the cold. So again the nightmare starts and from then on it became the longest night ever as I spend it walking the halls of my floor going from my my kitchen room to my sleep room, back and forth all night. Next day, new shift, nothing happened !!!!
I have no words to describe how happy I’m with this place the staff is very professional and helpful the room was very clean Love the city view and how close to everything it is,will stay here again in the future
