We travel to Caribbean’s frequently, been at this hotel 3 times , reason we go back is water quality at the beach is great,even though it is a small beach not for beach walkers.. Rooms after upgrade became expectable and overall cost of vacation is very fair..when it comes to the rest , hotel needs complete upgrade, some of the repairs maybe very basic but I don’t know why they are over looked? Food is avarage..

Told us hotel was full after we had already booked. Had to spend hours on the phone with orbitz.

The hotel is ok . It says all inclusive but there’s certain bars and pools that are not included unless you are part of a club. There are a lot of people that work for that lifestyle vacation club hounding you to try to get you to join which was kinda annoying. Also the first day I got there I noticed the fridge was not working so I let the staff know and i had to let them know 3 more times after to fix it. Finally on the second day I think they tried to fix it and left a bottle of champagne in the broken fridge that still did not work . The good part of the hotel is the entertainment and the buffet was pretty good. There’s restaurants you can reserve for free but every time I went to reserve they said it was full or too late to reserve even though the restaurants looked empty. Over all the rooms in front of the beach have a nice view but everything else was not as good as they make it seem. Definitely the rooms you stay at do not look anything like the rooms they show in the pictures. Our bed was also very uncomfortable.

Lots of Russian tourist that hog all the good stuff at the buffet. Stayed in a superior Room and there was a sour smell in the room for the whole 4 days. Cleaners Never gave my girlfriend and I enough towels. Sellers are aggressive in trying to get you to buy something. I do recommend the party boat and the excursion. Disappointed that the excursion wasn't with real ATVs like they said, instead we rode buggys. 24/7 bar and the bartenders are heavy handed. Use your street smarts, and if you do not have any, don't go. Beach is beautiful, but the Friday night beach party was a little too racist in terms of the theme, but it was a good time. TV broke and we had only 2 channels available.

This staff was terrible and they have a bad actitudes, we have to cancel because they cannot help as with the problem that we have, they have terrible costumer service I don't recommend nobody there.

This is an outdated hotel, if you can manage your expectations and plan to spend more time at the beach than in your room, then you will be fine. The beach and the Pelicano restaurant (not included in the hotel deal) are enjoyable. If you're not a picky eater than you'll do fine at the overcrowded buffet place. There are persistent sales people on site who'll try to con & over-promise you into buying a timeshare next door at their "private hotel" if you pay attention to them. Onsite internet is expensive and only works at times if you're on the beach.

The experience was amazing, the workers were very nice and were sure to make everyone feel welcomed and at home. If they didn't see you, they would be sure to find you and make sure of your safety. Security was amazing as well.

The Christmas night was nice celebration !!! A lot of seafoods,meat ,salads, desserts,alcohol everything that you like !!! The same thing was on the day of celebrations of New Years Day plus with champagne and Salute in the air !!! Special Show on the stage !!! Happy New Year everybody !!!

I will never go back to this hotel. I paid an additional fee for ocean view. When I went to check in they had no ocean room available. They placed me in a garden view room with mold on the walls. I complained to the staff and they were not compassion at all. Worst experience ever.

The staff IS friendly, but useless. Leaks of biblical proportions from the AC in the room. The rooms are very dated & the linens very old, the elevator worked the first day & never again. The wifi works in the lobby & by the pool & it's only barely. No phones in the rooms. The sink, toilet & bathtub were somehow clogged when we went out. We were told it would be fixed right away. Did not happen. Locals swarm the place on the weekend, Sunday morning the beach was filled with stray dogs pooping in the sand & fighting for the food that was scattered by other guests. Totally revolting. DO. NOT. GO. It's not worth the coins you'll save.

Hotel staff don't seem to care about fixing issues in your hotel room. Thermostat in the room only has 2 temp settings, very cold or off. Shower pressure non existent, shower heads hard water buildup. Took 5 days to get someone to fix it and it still wasn't fixed. Price of wifi is ridiculous. Poor restaurant selection.

The resort was nice but the room was full of roaches. When I got the room I noticed the toilet was clogged from the previous people. I called it in at 6:00 PM and they came to fix it 3:00 PM the next day meanwhile I got yelled at by Jacky (customer service) when I asked what time maintenance is coming. The staff was nice but once you asked a second question they showed a different face. Instead of the garden view I got the back of the hotel view with the garbage but since I waited on line for an hour abs a hand just to check in I want about to go request another room. The beach was beautiful and pools were great. The buffet and kids club staff were awesome.

They should think in demolish the hotel and start from scratch. We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. I`ve been in Bad Hotels, Really Bad Hotels and then in Be Live Hamaca that represents the worse experience in terms of cleanliness, they change my room twice and everything was from bad to worse. AC wasn't working, shower curtain had mold, floor tiles was stained because of dirt and nobody cares about it. I could not even walk inside the room barefoot because of the sand and dust on the floor. See pictures of conditions. When I asked to the front desk about it they told me that they knew that they need to remodel the entire hotel. Best ADVICE: Stay away from this hotel....

Dirty hotel. Paid for ocean view deluxe and got view of mechanical area with the weekend garbage pile and chickens. Asked front desk to give us room paid for and response was they upgraded us to the room we received because they sold out of the ocean view. Showers did not drain, cabinets and deasers doors were broke, air conditioning only worked on low and killed a few cockroaches

THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE REVIEW. THERE IS NOTHING FANTASTIC ABOUT THIS PLACE. IF YOU ARE BUSINESS TRAVEL AND LOCATION IS IMPORTANT THEN THIS PLACE IS GOOD ENOUGH BUT THIS PLACE IS DEFINTITELY NOT A DREAM VACATION. ON THE OTHER HAND IF YOU JUST WANT TO GET A WAY FOR A FEW DAYS AND YOU ARE ON A TIGHT BUDGET THIS PLACE COULD WORK BUT DONT EXPECT GREAT FOOD, DRINKS, SERVICE OR ACCOMODATION. THE 2.5 STARS IT HAS IS VERY ACCURATE RATING.

Hotel is falling apart, pool was not onced cleaned while I was there. Overall bad experience

we went to this hotel second time with us grandchild at 3 years is old It was great time it start from just we landing to Santo Domingo airport Blue transportation give to us great service after we arrived to hotel staff on service desk was very profession special person his name Thomas we would like tell him thank you very much. After we see our room it was very clean we just tell him "we need baby crib "it was delivery at 5 min Location of this hotel great ocean unbelievable our grandson swim by himself no worry

No wf ,no soap ,plastic cup for beer , leek on sinc,fire door in the room bolted.
