In a day and age where post COVId hotel stays have been sub par, understaffed, and lacking amenities offered pre-Covid, it was very refreshing to stay at Watercolor Inn where this was not the case. Watercolor Inn was fully staffed, with joyful, helpful, knowledgeable staff. From the moment we pulled into the property we encountered the most pleasant and helpful staff. All facilities were up and running. The extra treats in the room upon check in, the nightly cookies, the “treat suite,” the availability of bikes, the heated pools staffed with lifeguards keeling a watchful eye. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and look forward returning very soon. We were there celebrating my daughters birthday and our experience was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Everything was excellent! Service, staff, food, pools and rooms. I can’t say enough great things about this resort!
Beautiful hotel and overall wonderful experience. A negative is that AT&T cell service did not work in my room or balcony. Also, the Beach Club was very crowded and loud and the only option for a full service pool for kids. It would also be nice if beach chairs came with booking. They are pricey and many are far away from the main boardwalk. It would also be nice to have beach towels daily in the room instead of having to go to the Towel Hut. Room Service food was mediocre and Beach Club snacks were outrageously expensive. $7 popscicles? Come on.
We stayed here 2/20-2/24/16. Very low key and relaxing, well appointed room with big comfy bed. Fresh baked cookies at nightly turndown service were left nicely wrapped. Beautiful private beaches. Amazing staff; all very accommodating and friendly; always addressed us by name, making for a very personal experience. Meals in the 'Gathering Spot' lounge were great. We only used one heated pool but there were 5 pools available; 3 heated. Didn't get a chance to use the included bikes or kayaks. Walking distance to the town of Seaside - VERY pretty! The 2nd floor room was amazing; Gulf view; 2 minute walk on boardwalk over the dune to the beach.
