"My family consisting of a 16 year old and 8 year old had a great stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Santa Rosa Beach. A very special Thank You to Yong (Front Desk Reception) who took amazing care of the check-in, any needs or concerns my family and I during our stay and providing tips/advice on all the events/beaches/experiences for an amazing vacation. Yong truly instrumental in providing positive experience for the 10 days that my family and I were there. Of note as well, the kitchen staff and housekeeping were very attentive to keeping the hotel very clean. Any garbage on the counters, tables, floor, etc. were clean up within minutes. During the day and even into the evening, the floor of the lobby seemed to always have a staff member mopping. Pool was not very large but my kids and I enjoyed it and spent a good amount of time swimming in the beautiful and hot July weather. Not sure if the water would be as warm in the winter months unless it is a heated pool. Although the hotels location was about a 30 minute drive (depending on traffic) to the main attractions of Destin such as Harbor Boardwalk, Crab Island and the waterparks, gokart race tracks, etc. The hotel was conveniently close to a Walmart across the street, typical fast food restaurants, Publix at Grand Boulevard and it's shops, and The Village of Baytowne Wharf were all within 10 minutes drive. Destin Commons and Silver Sands Premium Outlets were just a bit further."

"It's a newer Tru and very nice property. Right beside Topsail Hill and there's a Donut Hole right down the sidewalk. You can tell the staff really cares and takes a lot of pride in the property. The Wednesday night reception was something I'd never experienced before at a smaller hotel. The king rooms are great for two people. If you have more than two, then you'll need a larger room."
