Great Stay. A bit Noisy

This is such a cute option to have on 30A and so needed, Would be five stars but the hotel was not built with good insulation so you hear your neighbors walking above you. Would have expected St. Joe to have done that right is all! Rooms are cute and property is well priced and designed, plenty of shops and restaurants outside, including a coffee shop.

I had a room that was near a back door that slammed shut continuously as someone entered or left. The walls were thin as I could hear a couple next door, apparently after drinking, fighting from midnight until the wee hours of the morning. I left a day early without getting a refund because I couldn’t stay there and risk getting no sleep again.

All I can say is, this hotel is exceptional. It’s easy to get to in Santa Rosa Beach, right on 30 a. It’s only two years old, so everything is still pretty much pristine, and the hotel was outfitted with high-end materials and is staffed with high-end people. It’s in a retail development that includes retail stores, restaurants, a coffee shop - those type things. There’s plenty of parking, which is free. Our king room had a kitchenette, including a full sized frig w/top freezer, large microwave, dishwasher - yes, a dishwasher!- toaster, k-cup coffeemaker, dish ware and cutlery. I mean, it’s a hotel room, but it’s almost like a studio apartment!!! Awesome! Also, a walk-in shower and premium shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The only somewhat negative thing I could say is that the walk-in shower floor is quite slippery. I mentioned to the front desk, and she said that housekeeping has some non-slip shower mats. Problem solved. Go here before the word is out and the price skyrockets!!! I cannot say enough about how friendly and professional the employees are. I checked in one day and the next day I came back out and spoke to the front desk supervisor again and she said oh you’re in room 224 right yes nice to see Mrs. Lansing. She remembered my name my room number everything. I cannot recommend the hotel anymore highly.
