Everything was fantastic. The staff is totally awesome. The room was beautiful total southwest looking the whole place is Adobe style and real Adobe building. If you want a real Southwest experience come to this Inn. One thing you have to understand is that it really is Southwest Adobe hotel/lnn. Do not expected to be a Hilton or the likes. It’s the real mcCoy and it’s fantastic. Walking distance you’re about eight minutes from the plaza and driving your maybe three or four minutes at the most. We definitely are coming back here in the future

The Room we stayed in was fine. We found we needed more counter space in the small bathroom. The toilet is out dated and very low to the ground. Breakfast was very good! Thank you, Kris and Audrey Buehler

The receptionist was great and gave us great recommendations on restaurants! However, it was our first time here and they placed us right off the road with power lines all over and we could hear all the noise from road. Then we noticed their was no air conditioning ( heater) thank goodness it had a ceiling fan but still very stuffy in room. Very limited in lighting in bathroom. We really didn’t get good sleep due to the noise outside and because we were on the bottom floor we could hear people walking above us and boards creaking over our bed. The fabric on bench and chair in room was dirty looking and should be replaced with leather maybe? We were so disappointed and hope they take this advice and make it better. We feel it was overpriced for what we got too. :-(

Travelers most want a clean room free of cleaning smells, a comfortable bed, a decent side chair, a quiet working HVAC system. My room was clean with a comfortable bed. I’d rate my room at 3 stars. Friendly, pleasant staff willing to resolve issues. They seemed to understand that the rooms need refurbished and did their best to make guests happy. I rate hotel staff at 5. Quiet lobby with a great bar, excellent breakfast, excellent simple dinner menu that could be easily overlooked…try the chicken enchiladas plate or the hummus appetizer. The bar is well stocked. I rate the amenities at 5 stars. Absolutely a great location; walkable to museums, plaza, galleries and so much more. Wish the owner would update the rooms! Staying here depends o the level of comfort that you want.

This was my first time in Santa Fe & I wanted a quaint, boutique property - Instead it felt dated & run down (pictures on every wall were crooked & the wood doors needed to be re-stained, bathroom needed to be re-tiled or re-grouted…everything looked worn out & not quaint at all. I have traveled throughout the Southwest and have stayed in adobe hotels with charm that are old & quaint. It has so much potential if the owners would invest just a little bit it would be awesome. Won’t be going back.

We reserved a 450 sq ft room and they try to give us a small kingside bedroom. When I question them about it, they gave us a little larger room, however, definitely not the type of room we reserved. The room was poorly maintained and so dark. One of the ceiling light fixtures in the living room was totally gone and the refrigerator was not working. All the lamps are mismatched, and the light bulbs are all different sizes and wattages. Parking spaces are small and hard to get in and out. Don't be fooled by the pictures. The hotel and rooms are not charming at all. It is not worth what they are charging you for. PLEASE stay away from this hotel and you are better off staying at somewhere else. Believe me.

Really liked the property it had the old Santa Fe feel. Room was very southwestern decor. Very comfortable. Needs just a little upkeep. The ceiling in the bath area needs cleaning maybe a cost of paint. Area under the vanity could use some tlc. But the living area was very nice, clean and comfortable

Undeserving of 5-stars

I’m not sure why this place has been rated as 5-star hotel. It’s not. It’s a perfectly fine place, but by no means is it a high-end hotel. The bed was comfortable, the decor is fun, the rooms are huge, the breakfast was decent. However, the bathroom ceiling was moldy, the room was run down, the door lock was barely attached to the door. There is nothing special offered at the hotel other than a not terrible breakfast.

I enjoyed the stay. Staff great. Wonderful morning breakfast. Clean. Very accessible to everything. My Only Dislike was insufficient hot water for shower. Sheesh! Stood there waiting and waiting… and just had to jump in… Make sure there is adequate Hot water as needed for all.
